Hello everyone...

As you all know, last Easter there was an accident in the house that involved my lovebird breaking her leg in two places. She had to be anesthetized and have her leg pulled back into place and splinted. For medication, the procedure, the Emergency fees for the holiday visit and even just for the vet to see her, everything came up to $500... After everything we fought for, Tiny passed on today at 3:35pm in my hands.. I'm still crying and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it..

I'm still offering commissions for $10 inks..


Tiny's Story:

My fiance and I used to breed lovebirds.. Tiny was out last baby, but she was born first. She was a runt, you see. One day after all the babies in a clutch of 5 were hatched and feeding.. Starting to grow with the others.. We couldn't spot Tiny.. We shuffled all the babies and with a few well placed bites, the parents.. We found Tiny nearly lifeless at the bottom of the nesting box. We scooped her out and began hand-feeding her and gave her her own fleece-lined box to sleep in next to a night light for heat. She had a cut on her head from the parents stepping on her by accident caused by the shuffle, but it was soon healed. She still has a scar to this day. Tiny is our baby and we planned to keep her in our lives until her last day with us.. Which happened to be today.. We love you honey.
