Background: Andrew and Maggie are brother and sister who are seven years apart. They were really kind to each other growing up and loved each other very much. In the early 1960s, Andrew went off to war to fight in Vietnam when her sister was just entering college. He was successful in his tour, as he frequently wrote home.
