That's right, you can now filter journals on FA, although with a plugin. You can download it here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2125182/ (caution: his gallery is filled with cub porn)
You can edit the filters to your liking. Built-in filters filter out Ustream notices, deleted journals, memes, and commissions. You can opt to see the hidden journals, and all hidden journals are automatically selected for deletion.
Requires the Greasemonkey plugin
Another recommended plugin is FA Extender, available here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fi.....fox/addon/6512
The main feature in my opinion is that it adds a link on your submissions page to open ALL of those submissions in separate tabs. VERY handy.
Other features include a one-click link to download a submission(from the submission's page) to a pre-designated folder on your computer. You can also choose to have it organize those downloads in folders based on who made them. So, all submissions by me would be saved to the willyums folder.
Both of these are for Firefox only, BUT, Greasemonkey scripts can also run in other browsers, somehow. I know that Opera has its own Greasemonkey-like tool, and it can take Greasemonkey scripts. I just downloaded Greasemonkey tonight, so I'm still exploring it. Already downloaded some scripts for Twitter.
Edit: I will constantly update this entry with more plugins as I find them. There is now a link in my journal footers to this entry. If you have any more FA-enhancing plugins to recommend, PLEASE tell me!
