The Raffle is now officially CLOSED! Thank you to everyone who entered! Please be patient with me as I, firstly, finish up a couple Commissions, and tally up all your comments and get it in a number generator. Whoever comes out as #1 wins! I predict this'll take just a few days. :>

I figured I’d better post this sooner than later, in case it sneaks up on me! But yes, I am nearing the 10k Watcher mark here on FA. I’m very excited to be this close to begin mentioning it, even. This is a pretty big milestone, and I want to give back to all the awesome folks who have been and continue to support me through the years with my artistic endeavors!

All of the information regarding the raffle will be provided in list format at the bottom of this Journal. To enter, you simply need to comment! All entrants will be put into a random number generator, and #1 at that random list will be the winner.

Please comment with something along the lines of 'I'll enter' or 'Count me in' so I can be sure to count your entry! Comments not including something that definitely shows you'd like to enter will be double-checked by me with a reply asking for sure if that's your entry or not, just to be certain I don't miss anyone!

UPDATE 26SEP - As per FA's raffle policy, I cannot give out extra entries if you post an advertisement Journal! I have amended the pertinent info regarding this, and all folks who comment will only get one entry per person! Thanks to all who did make advertisement journals - while you still can, if you'd like, it's not necessary nor can I give you an extra entry as per the policy. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused. ^^

Take note that you MUST be Watching me to enter! This raffle is for my Watchers, after all, and it would just be unfair to simply watch then un-watch to enter for some free art. I appreciate my Watchers and y’all’s support like crazy, and I will be taking this rule very seriously. I will be checking all entrants prior to finalizing the entries into the random number generator. If you’ve un-watched, you’ll be removed from the raffle! Also, on this note, please don’t Watch just to get into the raffle, then un-watch if you don’t win. That’s shady, and defeats the point of me trying to give back to y’all.

I retain the right to refuse or remove any entrants based on past negative experiences or interactions, including but not limited to: harassment, bullying, threats, passive-aggressive comments/remarks, slander, rude comments made here or on external sites, and stalking. That last one is a pretty major issue. *stares*

I also retain the right to refuse or remove any entrants entering solely for purposes of 'piggybacking' or 'riding on my coattails' to bolster their own 'popularity' from either myself or this Raffle. I have had several instances of individuals approaching me recently asking me how to, or to help them, 'get as many watchers as' I 'do.' That is a MAJOR red flag, people, and is seriously crossing the line. If you do this, or if I catch you doing this elsewhere, you will be blacklisted from this and future Raffles of mine. That is extremely low, and completely missing the point of this raffle. By doing such things, you are taking away from the actual Watchers and friends who have supported me and to whom I want to give back, and I have zero tolerance for such behaviour.

On a more sensitive subject, please don’t think that, once I hit 10k, I’m gonna become one of ‘those artists’ who just ‘cares about the numbers’ on their profile page. Y’all who know me by now know that I am not like that, and I never will be. I’ve dealt with folks like that, and from personal experience, mark my words, I’ll never become one of ‘those artists.’ Never.

The prize for this raffle will be a Full Painting featuring one of your characters with one of mine! I’m planning on having all the refs done for all my characters within the next couple of months so that folks can take a look at all the critters in my neck of the woods. The Painting will be just that – a LINELESS Painting, full background! I do ask, though, that the characters not be sporting anything extra that is substantially complex – such as really intricate armour, or in or on vehicles, spacecraft, or aircraft. The piece is to show off the characters, after all! They can be anthro or feral, and in any type of scene or interacting in almost any way, granted it’s PG-rated. I do retain the right to refuse any scenes/interactions, and will suggest changes that both parties will be happy with if this would be the case, although I doubt it. Wait time will be dependent on my Military flight training regimen at the time the raffle is finex.

The contest will come to a close a few days after the 10k mark is hit, at which point I will make a Journal announcement and close this Journal for all commenting. I will then gather all the entrants, input all entries into a random number generator, and update the finex announcement Journal with the winner and closing remarks. The winner will be contacted soon thereafter to work out pertinent details for their prize.

The winner can choose if the prize will include their character or someone else’s, (if the person is not on FA, if the winner has no OCs, or to delegate as a gift to someone else.) Should this be the case, the winner and I will correspond with the third party to confirm we are greened-up to use their character.

I am very eager to get this ball rolling! I wish my schedule allowed for more kiribans and raffles like this, but to make up for that, this is going to be my biggest yet! It’s the least I can do! All you guys – from old Watchers and friends to new – really support me and make the art world such a thriving, exciting place to be a part of. Talking to folks on here, meeting people in person at conventions and random outings, and even simply fursuiting and geeking out about dragons and art together wouldn’t nearly be the same without knowing so many amazing folks out there! I really, truly hope everyone understands just how much I sincerely appreciate all the support and encouragement I’ve received over the years, and I’m looking forward to many more countless years of great times with everyone to come!
