AZ Fur con 2015 Photos

Wow, what a great convention! I can definitely say this was a major improvement over the first one I attended in 2013 and look forward to seeing this convention event grow over time. Its a bit late here in Phoenix, so here are the photo galleries.

If you prefer a different look, I tried something different this year. Two sets - main event and after dark.
Main event set - My convention experience condensed into just about 60 photos.

After Dark Set - Experimental low light photography. Safe for work, I promise!

Enjoy!

Really dig "AZFurcon_2015_After_Dark_18" and "AZFurcon_2015_After_Dark_22". I assume you were zooming while taking the photo? It really makes the light around the edges look stunning! I personally have always accidentally got some of the subject blurry too when I try that!
I rarely ever make these sorts of edits to images unless I feel that the edit would improve the composition and add to the emotional impact of the image. In that case, I do light painting and accentuate or take emphasis away from certain details to lead your eye to the right places. Its my version of the light room. : )
