That fall was rather nasty. Least the therapists are willing to do the extra mile to help you get back on your feet. Sounds like the loose pin and infection made the hip a little too weak.

Sounds like what happened to a relative of mine. Lots of rehab was involved.

Oh my god, hon, I just heard about this from Pookin, and I hadda come back to check up on you!!! *gentle snuggles* My grandpa suffered a very similar injury about 2 years ago and he never really quite bounced back from that (then again, he's nearly 90 and you're tough moosie <3). I -immediately- got worried. O______O;;

My mom fell and busted her kneecap a couple years ago and needed surgery, so I know how much damage a fall can cause. Hope your rehab goes well and the upcoming operation!
