A Message from da Moosie:
Today I am going to be a SHAVEE at the St. Baldrick's event here in my home town! I am trying to raise money for fighting children's cancer. I am going BALD for a cancer cure!!!
I have taught in the Catholic Schools for 30 years. In that time, I have seen many of my students succumb to all types of cancer. It's heartbreaking. At my last school, where I taught for 18 years, we had 2 students and 4 MOTHERS fight cancer and I hope that, someday, we may never see that again.
So I have made a pledge to help raise money for cancer research through St. Baldrick's Society.
What is St. Baldrick's?
St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family.
At a St. Baldrick's event, something amazing happens. People who normally shy away from the very thought of childhood cancer find themselves compelled to support this cause after looking into the face of these brave children who are smiling broadly as their friends and family members proudly display their newly shorn heads.
Volunteers and donors see it can be fun to support a serious cause. Young cancer patients and survivors see how many people care. And researchers see St. Baldrick's funds helping to find cures!
Not only am I going to shave my head, but I have rarely shaved my goatee, ever. In 30 YEARS! So I'm LOSING MY BEARD!!! I don't care if I look like a "cue ball" for a week or two. It's a GREAT CAUSE!!
And I ask that you support MuscleWolf, too. He is VERY UNHAPPY that his Moosie is losing his hair, even for a short time!

I do have a family relic stored in the attic. It's my grandfather's toupee. Family hairloom, ya see.

Great job man!
Not that I'm above peeking...
...if it's appropriate...
Oh, and you look a lot better without hair than I think I would.
I'll be happier when I at least get my goatee back, Rusty.
Did you enjoy your trip?
