Here it is straight and to the point, I love Charr. There a great race and all the Charr art I have seen has been awesome and I want more of it. I have noticed there is a small Guild Wars 2 community here and figured I could try and make some friends and maybe increase my readership for the Charr Chronicles and personal stories with this raffle. I know I am leaving out the other main races and quite a few of the minor ones for this raffle, but I just wanted to get this one done before I open a new raffle later on all the major races and minor ones. So let's get down to business!

This is Eris Spiritheart, an ex-elementalist and one of two legionnaires of the Spirit warband (with her twin brother, Arcturis Spiritmaw), she was iron legion until she entered the mists, hoping to seek out her girlfriend who was killed by renegades, and was proclaimed dead by her warband and legion. She has only recently returned from the mists as a revenant, and took back her shared role of legionnaire.
She's a cutie. (That is not factual information but OH WELL.)

Background: Being a Mesmer, She's prone to tricking people and causing a bit of mischief. If it's for/with friends this is done in good humor. If it's the enemy, its the opposite. Her powers of illusion and distraction help her hide the fact she was born a HERM or any embarrassing "public boners" she might get. She gets excited/fascinated easily.

Personality: Shy, helpful, potion addict and sometime brutal
Weapons: Flamethrower, Rifle (Predator), Mortar... And a lot of potion!
Background: Since she was young, she always been fascinated by the Iron Legion. Wondering how can someone could ever build powerful weapon, tanks or even aircraft with only few materials. Also the story she heared from other about how efficient they where to keep the ascalonian ghosts from the Black Citadel was only warming up that desire inside her chest. Few years later she made her way to study and become eingeneer, a easy path for her with an incredible creativity for both killing and inventing things. Even if she was considered as the weakest from her family, she had something that not many has; She was versatile. That something that both helped her and her Warband's mates to survive to the Flamme Legion.

Egocentric, witty, normally self-confident. Relying heavily on the people around him, would do anything it takes to push his own benefit, and the benefit of his allies, above anybody or anything else. Expert weaponsmith, adept alchemist, and experimenting golemancer. Did not grow up in the Black Citadel nor under the Legion's command, yet he is the cub of a suspiciously rogue Ash Legion scout.

Mine is Ebon Flamelust, a Charr warrior!
He's a competent melee warrior and an alright ranged combatant, being raised as a member of the Blood legion. His true calling was found as part of a more experimental style of fighting: drop trooping. That is to say, leaping from the sides of airships into the midst of enemy lines! He's an avid thrillseeker when the blood gets pumping, but in his spare time he's just a fun loving Charr! Hi strengths would be his fun, optimistic attitude on life, and his weakness would be social ineptness/obliviousness/meekness when it comes to romantic relationships!

Story: She is a little bit angry about the "normal" fighting guys, because it's to lazy just stand around and slashing all into pieces. So she choose to get into battle with style and a little bit of badass.
Her motto: "Do it, do it with fire, steel and mesmerize!"

Khaj Deathmaker, Iron Legion, Legionnaire, Maker Band.
The leader of the ill-fated Maker Warband, Khaj has spent most of his years alongside his band wrecking any enemy fortifications and encampments the Citadel sees fit to set them against. HAving recently rebuild Maker Band from the ground up, Khaj is looking forwards, towards the death of the dragons themsevles. After all, Charr killed their gods, what are a few measly elemental spirits? Even if they are dragons..
Demolitions and as a result of creating them, alchemy are his specialties, and he loves nothing more than the scent of a burned out camp after he and his band firebomb them in the night, or have blown the foundations of their command center.
Name: Tenderpaw
Gender: Female
Class: Elementist
Age: Adolescent/Adult
Story: Tenderpaw (real name unknown) is an orphan charr that was raised by Kodan and Norn in the far north. Her origin story is still clouded in a bit of mystery and confusion, but ultimately she never developed the same ferocity and aggressive tendencies as her charr brethren. A Kodan shaman taught her about the balance of nature while Norn villagers educated her on the importance of trust and respect. It wasn't until she hit adolescence that she discovered her ability to use magic--fire magic specifically. After setting fire to one too many huts on accident in her youth, she decided to travel across the land to try and find her place in the world.

Story: Friends with Jacquelyn (Jacky for short) for years, she's saved the small cat's life many, many times. The two are very close and are rumored by the crew to be lovers. Which isn't at all far-fetched. She is Jacky's most trusted friend, and her first mate and helps run the pirate crew.

Formerly of the Sear Warband, Kayde is a competent engineer trained in the maintenance of siege weaponry and the creation of explosives. After the Warband fell apart he now finds himself a wandering Gladuim, attempting to put his former skills to use as a sort of travelling handyman.

The life of a blood legion is a quick one.
Battle: The clash of metal upon metal, of warcries and death wails. It brings meaning to life, and an end to it.
These are the sorts of things which makes one feel truly alive. It's the feature of the strong to survive, and the strength of a warband is that reaping scythe which brings death to all those who stand against it. So what happens when the tides of blood grow weak, and the call of battle dies down?
You get sent out to the most dull places to patrol. And let me tell you, runt; There are those that prefer those peaceful times, but for me? There's nothing like dominating your prey- Something which is as rare as a good drink when you're out helping humans maintain their lands. Still, orders are orders, and I'm not one to complain. Sometimes you get a live one who fights back; It's those moments you gotta enjoy before they're gone.
Hobbies: Whittling, smithing, toying with humans, and drinking.
Personality: Blunt, driven, short-fused.

Finds Herself leading her Warband or Guildmates as she calls them since She has non Charr Teammates through the mists Scouting for their commander of their Region. Lately has study the ways of the Daredevil and mastering many devastating techniques.
Hobbies: Krystal is actually Besides a Assassin a Fashionista showing off her scarf in battle and color coordinated garment she wants to look good in her killings.

A Guardian born into Flame Legion, Kazul had been subject to watch as the High Legion Charr were tortured, scorched, turned into Effigies, you name it. As he grew, he came to hate the Flame's practices and defected into Blood Legion as a Gladium. Wanting nothing to do with his past, he dyed his armor as opposite as Flame as he could. What counteracts fire? A cool blue water. The only remnant of his time in Flame Legion is his chestplate which he holds sentimental value for his Warband he grew up with. Donning a dragon helmet to give himself a seeming ferocity he didn't have on the inside, as he's a gentle and caring soul, He further shed his Flame armor piece by piece to become the bulky tank he is now. He still gets looks every now and then from older Charr but he gets through each day the best he can as a defector of Flame and he would defend Blood Legion and its Tribunes to the death if need be.

This phalanx used to lead a warband called the Ire Warband. They had a fateful encounter with ascalonians, Drad being the only survivor of their violent ambush. Accepting that being a soldier comes with a price, Drad never mourned after his warband but celebrated them as brave warriors who died honorable deaths. However, this incident made him a gladium. He was given a chance to prove his worth and gather a new warband instead of transferred to an existing one. He left Black Citadel in search of other gladiums he knew or had heard about, ending up in Hoelbrak. Due his nature, he was well-received in the norn community which made him stay for a while. The scarf he always wears was gifted by Ivarr Frostwalker, a male norn ranged who had become more than just drinking buddies with the charr. He is still looking for other gladiums to rebuild his warband, almost finished finding everyone he wanted to recruit.
Drad takes pride in his strength and can easily become cocky and over-confident. However, as a legionnaire he has to keep his cool and thus is capable of avoiding reckless decisions most of the time, but sometimes his pride takes the better off him. Like any charr, he always enjoys a good party with alcohol, meat and and brawling. He secretly enjoys playing a hero; when alone, he would help anyone from any race in trouble, although he only does this for the praise, a possible reward and to show off his strength. Sometimes this leads to Drad getting useful contacts and/or information too.

Gender: Female
Profession: Ranger
She's a shy and friendly Charr from the Ash legion and got lost as a cub after a battle with Ascalonian ghosts where she lost her mother and her father is a flame legion shaman at this point so she was all alone in the wild. She learnd how to survive in the wilderness and ended up in Hoelbrak where a Norn: Mjölnir Whitemane helped her, trained her. She was there for quite some time adapted Norn culture,wit,cleverness and got her last name. After she returned to the Black Citadel and reunited with her warband she trained as a ranger useing Ash legion tactics and Norn wit to outsmart her enemies.

Profession: Charrdian.
He's a big kitty, not from the citadel, and not even from Tyria. He lives in the Reach and has more than a few run ins with the seraph. The biggest and surprisingly friendliest charr you'll ever meet, and to make up for that, he wears the biggest and most intimidating armor he can get his paws on. Just don't get on his bad side or he won't stop until you're lying on the floor in a puddle of blood. Buy him an ale and he'll love you forever.

Ever since she was a cub she has always had an affinity for water and ice based magics, thus the surname. As well as this she earned quite the reputation in the Ash Citadel for the mischief and mayhem she caused from a young age. After her father died due to... Peculiar circumstances Swift and her mother set out from the Ash Citadel to seek refuge in Ascalon and Swift has lived there ever since. Her mother, however, returned back to the Ash citadel to seek pardon with the Ash Tribune (Swift never found out why) but her mother has yet to return...
Not much of a story I know, but hopefully gives you an idea of what she's like :3 she's actually a big bundle of fun normally and likes cooking strange foods using her magic. But if someone gets on the wrong side of Swift they regret it.
