Graefs - Shark Robots in action

For part of my upcoming project I'm putting up some of the history of my little Graef Robot ideas. Please feel free to ask me questions about anything that is unclear or that you want to know about. Soon I'll be bringing these machines to life!
General Information
Dr. Ashton Degrail was one of several scientists assigned to the planet Canis Draconum to assist in various needs of neurological research and its applications towards digital consciousness uploads. While he was fairly well renowned in his field, he took the job on Canis Draconum to try and help his daughter. His daughter was one of many who had taken to Gene Mod enhancement and turned herself into a Shark Anthro. She was in a vegetative state due to an marauder attack upon the station she was working on. He hoped in working with several of the scientists that worked on Gene Modded humans and Uplifts that he would be able to move her consciousness to another body or create a backup of her to preserve her mind until they could.
While his research was fruitful in some parts, it was not so fruitful in other parts. With the help of several other scientists he was able to map and understand the neural pathways and even goes as far as to design the connectors to map the mind of his daughter's modified brain. They created their artificial brain shortly thereafter to try and transfer his daughter's EGO. The process went smoothly and appeared to succeed, but when they activated the brain in the synthetic body it was a whole new EGO entirely. It had the barest traces of personality and understanding much like a small child. Degrail was so devastated by the results that he had spent so much time upon that he quit the research team. The EGO was left with the rest of the researchers.
One of the other researchers by the name of Victoria Winterbell took lead of the project and turned it in a different direction. They began study of the EGO and tried to work to recreate the EGO. The EGO itself slowly began to learn and grow into a full thinking machine. It surprised the researchers when it named itself Tnargraef which it did not appear to have any reference to beforehand. It assisted the researchers in study as well as it could, but was still not much better than a humanoid during most of the research. After several more years they managed to create lesser versions of the AI based around copying and restructuring. Victoria took this opportunity to cash in on the idea and presented several dozen options and uses for their creation which quickly took to market on the planet.
The AGI being lesser versions of Tnargraef were given the name Graef. Almost all Graefs have synthetically created intelligence rather than direct copies of Tnargraef. While there are still continuing efforts to reproduce the AI of Tnargraef from using other minds or duplicating Tnargraef's EGO, there has only been one major success in doing so and most create volatile creations at best. Graefs stand at 1.2 meters tall and have a shark facial structure based around the Degrail's daughter. They have various classes to them that help define their basic purposes, but they can also be very multi purpose depending on who owns and customizes them. Their skin can range from synthetic flesh to hard armor. The materials used in making average Graefs is no more durable most other armor on the planet, but the information storage itself was designed to be incredibly durable to prevent the loss of personality. This led to Graefs being used in dangerous as well as generic means. One of the most prevalent uses is actually using them in sanctioned battles against one another. Graefs have become a fairly common household item that people of all ages use.
Types
Omega - Currently there is only one of this unit as they have not been able to reproduce the circumstances that created it in the first place.
Alpha - This Refers to Tnargraef, the Original.
Beta - A very basic unit. Very simple functions. Usually no personality
Gamma - Average unit. Some personality and often multiple functions. Like a butler and driver or construction worker
Delta - Higher function than Gamma. Also more durable. Used by police and military. Has a robust personality
Phi - Term for a unit possessed by a Psi
Psi - Digital consciousness Type. Often used in office espionage. Can possess Beta and Gamma units with ease.
Chi - Basic digital consciousness. Many people use these as a personal assistant
Epsilon - Special Ops units. Usually these are installed with various types of stealth and spy units.
Kappa - Works with cables, ropes, and other sorts of bindings
Lambda - Size growing bodyguard units
Omicron - Greatly enhanced Graef units. This are normally prototype units and are generally unstable mentally.
Manufacturers
Anubis - The original manufacturer of the first conventional Graefs. They are the primary developers in many of the more conventional types of Graefs.
Inzanami - "The Taste of Flesh" - The primary manufacturer of synthetic flesh Graefs.
Hades - The primary combat type manufacturers. They designed the first arena brackets and Graefs to be used in such fights.
Xolotl - The primary construction type manufacturers. When it comes to building Graefs to make things, there is no one better.
Morena - The primary parts suppliers for anything large or small. Their Graefs tend to be mixed and modular.
