A new month about to start, and new commissions available to be done in it! I'm just finishing the end of my last list (so don't fret if yours hasn't been posted just yet. They'll be up pretty soon) and am ready to grab some more!

"Brindle! I've got a bit of an odd one here. I'm looking to get a new character drawn for the first time. highly mechanical, and predominantly just black and white, so I feel a full colour might be a bit of a waste, but a sketch might not do it justice in terms of detail and acting as a reference. What do you recommend?"
I think it's something we'd have to talk about in more detail, in notes.
Designing a character is pretty different than just drawing one, so if it's a design you're after we'll have to discuss it before I can really set a price.
As for more than a sketch, but less than a coloured piece, I'm sure I can do something in flat colour, or even a ref sheet. But if you just mean something to the same level of polish as a coloured piece, but black and white, well, that wouldn't actually change the process I use to do them, I'd just be colour picking greys instead of colours XD
A refsheet would be good, but I didn't want to start out by asking for one, given that wasn't what you were opening for. I'm happy to have a discussion and see what you think of the work involved, because if we're doing a full refsheet it would involve even more to do the character properly.
