Hello everyone.  Riffnote here. Wanted to post an update as well as a little request for you.

Life has been both busy and stressful for me lately so I haven't had as much time to work on getting this set up as I would like. I will occasionally post updates here, even if it's just to show a cool music-related video, to keep this group active and engaged for the time being. I encourage you all to keep an eye out for these journals as we put together different projects and meet-ups at cons.

If you haven't shared already, please comment below with what you play, and whether or not you own any instruments. I'd like to add that a keyboard counts as piano, so either one is fine! Also, if you are a percussionist, comment specifically with what your specialty instruments are, if any. For instance, if you favor mallet instruments (xylophone, marimba, etc) over non-pitched percussion (drum set, snare, bass drum, quads, etc), please make that known. Bonus points if you can play them all tho! :D

The database I'm putting together is coming along nicely. I will personally be in touch with as many of you as possible to obtain contact information, cons you're planning to attend, etc etc.

Some have voiced concerns about traveling with your instruments to conventions. Many of you own one or more fursuits, so it's no easy chore to add an instrument to your packing list, especially if it's as big as a baritone horn, tuba, drum kit, etc. If this concerns you, please feel free to reach out and we can talk about a solution.

I have big dreams and high hopes for this group. I have no delusions that this is a tall order, considering the busy lives we have. However, I know in my heart that this can become something truly great for our fandom. If any of you have ANY questions, concerns, or ideas, do not hesitate to contact either myself or Rocky.
