Please give this journal a read:
Our current money situation sucks royally. We have no income coming in yet. The organization that I work for pays into a "disability plan" which will ultimately pay me HALF of what I earn every pay period (two weeks) as if I had worked. The paperwork is in but who knows when that will cash out.
That hasn't kicked in yet, but that does not prevent the bills from piling up. And we have a lot of bills that I inherited from my Ex-Fiance's wreckless spending with my charge cards. A LOT. MuscleWolf was astounded when I told him, but as you know my heart is too big for this stupid moose. If I had grandkids I'd be broke!
Now I am in Rehab. I will most likely be here up until Christmas. The surgery was successful but serious and there is ONE MORE TO GO, three months away. After that the Ortho Doctor said that I SHOULD BE ABLE TO WALK AGAIN, something thtat i haven't been able to do in 9 years!!
While being here in Rehab I am trying to colour artwork using the programs on my iPad, something I am not as familiar with. We also have a portable scanner that patches into my iPad and we are able to scan MW'S current artwork into .jpgs which we can send to you in a HI REZ, .jpg form.
I have an inspiration: we are trying an idea that may benefit you as well as help pay the immediate bills due now... So here's the deal:
MW will be doing inkings through MFF. He is charging $20 and any extra you might wish to throw in as a donation (like to cover any fees from online retailers). Since I am laid up here I want to try colouring those pictures you buy from us with the programs on my iPad. This will be at NO COST to you. In other words, free colouring!!! In other words, a freebie!! In the event that I cannot get the quality of the picture that I feel is good quality work from us from my programs on the iPad, I will REDO them after I get out of Rehab, using the programs I am comfortable with on my Desktop Mac. And you will get a Hard Copy of your picture either in the mail or at MFF if you're going.
So let's recap:
1. Your picture will be $20 and any extra donation you see fit to throw in above that $20.00. The slots will be open until next week, December 7th. We need to raise about $500 immediately so don't wait!! ONE extra character will be $5 more.
2. Your INKED VERSION will be done and sent to you via email as soon as it is done. Immediately. DUE TO THIS BEING A SERIOUS FUNDRAISER FOR US, THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE CHANGE ALLOWED.
3. Your COLOURED VERSION will be completed shortly after that provided that I get the quality I need from my iPad programs. IF NOT, I will do your picture at home and get it to you when done. If you are outside the USA, you will need to pay postage. All monies in USD funds, please. We will send you out a COLOURED copy via mail if you wish! No charge (unless overseas).
Please note: any pictures still currently in my queue do NOT count towards this special. Your best bet would be to get another picture, another pose. It's cheaper that way.
I know that you have been generous in the past by giving us extra time to get things done, but we need to get all of this done now. We don't want to be accused of taking your money and not delivering. If you have any comments or complaints please PM me and we can fix that stuff. Also PM me to get this started. I ill give you my hospital bed phone number if you need to talk about your drawing.
