Need Help Gaining Weight~ ;w;

Hey there everybody! Hope you've all been doing well, i'm very excited for the holidays myself ^^
Now here's some news that's a bit different than what i usually do like raffles and stuff x3
So i could really use some help with something i've been bothering with for i think the last few years now, which is my weight!
With most people when you hear somebody has a issue with their weight it's because they want to lose weight, with me it's exactly the way around ^^;;
I'm sure it's a bit silly to hear that from somebody who likes to draw huge cuddly butterballs but i've been quite a skinny guy for quite a long while now, i think almost to the point where it's damaging my health
Since my body is quite brittle, i don't have alot of energy, and i sleep for very long every night x.x
My parents say it's in my genes which basically turn my metabolism into a 2000PK super engine x3
Which is a blessing for some but they can be seen as a curse as well for somebody who can see a few visible ribs on his top chest ;w;
So i hope you know i'm currently very very dissatisfied with my body
Now since alot of you like fat i thought it would be an option to ask you for any help or tips on how to put some much needed meat on my bones
Since i'm sure one or two of you like to gain weight on purpose, now i don't mean to go all out ofcourse, but with the body shape i have currently it'd be much healthier to pudge up a bit~
I do know a bit of the basic stuff ofcourse like surpassing eating 2000 calories, and adding alot of healthy fats from fish and nuts in my diet
And i do follow that and have been for the past half year but i haven't seen any results other than one of two pounds ;w;
I'm sure i don't have any parasites either, since i've never had a ravenous appetite though that would be useful x3
So it'd be much much appreciated if anybody could help out here, i've you've got knowledge on how to slow down that super fast metabolism to the speed of a turtle please share that too ^w^
Or perhaps any nutritional info i should keep in mind, anything helps~!
I honestly feel like i'd be much more happy and confident with a more heavyset body, just wish i could gain as fast as the fatties i draw x//3

I can eat healthy and be active and I will gain weight <.<

I would say the key is not to eat much or fat, but it's to eat what is needed at the right moment.
Eating fast or slow sugar before night is really good. We'll basically everything would help you to gain weight if you eat before going to bed. Cause your body uses to calories during the day and less during the night.
A huge meal for the evening would help you more than tye same meal at noon.
Also, 2000 calories a day is a very huge MINIMUM.
A male adult can use up to 3000 calories a day.

Well on the nutritional label it says 2000, perhaps that's the food industry trying to keep me skinny xd
I'm still a teenager though so perhaps i'd need as bit less than that though~
If adults "need more" is cause they are bigger at some point. But some nutritionist tend to forgot as well that growing people need their bigger amount of calories as well.
I am 19 and 5'11" tall. My body can easily use at least 2500 calories a day.
But I must be too lazy or eat to much. (you can gain weight with eating to much vegetables yes)
Which made me overweight with time x3
So I guess just eat plenty of snacks and meals.

Is not fun when I eat 16000 to 20000 calories a day. ;w;
And the first like of the article is ''This article is not for people who are 'too skinny' and want to reach a normal weight'' so i don't think that would help ^^;;
Now if this is to get to a healthy weight I'd like to give you my two cents of the matter, eat healthy (duh) and make sure to get carbs calcium and other good vitamins and minerals and exercise at least 20 minutes a day.
However if it's to satisfy your fetish and go past standards then I don't think it's a good idea cause being fat fucking sucks. (I'm 5'11'' and around 225 lbs which is considered overweight btw)

I do cycle on my bike to school every day so that takes care of the exercise, and i'll try not to go eat fast food all day obviously x3
But the ideal body is different for each person, and being skinny isn't that much fun when you live near a beach and people stare at you like statues or tell me to 'eat a burger or something' ^^;;

Breads are very good, since they are basically just carbs and are generally low in sodium. So eating pasta, bread, pastries, bagels, etc. won't steer your health in a poor direction.
Eating chicken and fish is pretty good for you too, and non-red meats. A good idea is to still have a balanced diet so that you don't push yourself into a bad area.
Next, would be working out, maybe even taking supplements to help build muscle. Even if you don't have a big build or anything, doing basic exercises (even with 3lb weights) can build good muscle and probably increase the amount of energy that you have.
Also, eating before you go to bed is a good way to basically force your body into storing food into fat cells for later use, this is a good way to increase weight, but it's not exactly healthy but there are a lot of worse things you can do =P
And i love seafood so i'm taking in enough healthy fats hopefully, i do take half an hour to ride my bike to school every day and back, which makes my legs the only decently sized part of my body x3
I do know a store that sells supplements, but the clerks there are absolute hunks and i feel like i'll get laughed at if a scrawny teenager comes to the counter with a huge jar of the stuff, but i suppose i can't let that get in the way of my will to put on a few x3

As far as slowing your metabolism... Hmm, not sure. I know there are ways, like, maybe even a vitamin you can buy to help slow it down and increase your intake of calories. Appetite boosters might help too. TBH, I'm sure you must have researched all this before, but keep looking around, try a few things, don't be afraid to look in some weird nooks and crannies too. I'm sure you'll find something that works for you :D!
I have been looking into joining a weight gaining blog, but i feel like i'll be the odd one out since alot of people there are huge as is x3
Do you know any natural appetite boosters actually? i've done a bit of research on them but i think i can only get them with a prescription ;w;

Hey hey, no one starts out fat... Baby chubbiness aside XD; it takes either a lifetime of bad habits and genetic disposition, or, in our cases, a lot of nutritional control and assistance lol. Around 20 my metabolism decided to shift up in gear too, so I know its tough to gain weight.
Like I said, I havent really been able to go full into gaining. Ive only upped my carbs intake :/ Ive researched more in-depth gaining, but I cant recall anything specific off the top of my head, sorry, but definitely look up those blogs, and dont worry. Youd be surprised, people would love to see such a skinny guy get nice n' big lol c:!
avoid stuff like Orange juice or stuff with vitamin C
and lasty do not exercise ...just simply do stuff like gaming if you are bored (with potato chips )
(also you might wanna try a cola-mantos combie )
And that worked !
But I have been gaining weight. I've found that sitting in bed doing things and eating random stuff helps only a little bit in terms of weight. Don't know what else to tell ya ^^;
Nah but seriously, what I do is eat a lot of carbs and try not to move too much. Works like a charm. I will warn you tho, if you wanna go down this path, be prepared to put up with a lot of shit from doctors and loved ones
But carbs are very important indeed, so i have to eat alot of bread right? owo
has kind of inspired me to want to gain. Now to actually pack it on, that's the tricky part~
The trick is in triggering insulin more often. I know that very much constantly eating high-carbohydrate foods does this.
(I got this from the documentary Fat Head. That documentary was a surprise to me. Fed Up is also interesting.)
