Crowdfunding for Christmas Pictures!
Greetings, everyone! It's the Christmas Season, which is my absolutely favorite time of the year! It's time for this year's set of Christmas Pictures.
Now, this year I'm mixing it up a bit. I always have SO MANY ideas, and can never get them all done. This year, I have a little bit of a different situation than usual - no job, lots of time, and needing money. SO! It's time for some crowdfunding! Think of this as a test to see if a Patreon would work out.
I am currently taking donations. For each donation, you can tell me which picture you would like to sponsor for Christmas. Every picture that 'raises' 100 dollars will be completed in full color. However! It's entirely possible that ALL pictures will raise more than that if I am lucky), and I don't think I can finish them all by Christmas (but they will be top priority), so.. whichever pictures raise the most money will be finished first! I'll keep a running tally every day so that people can see which pieces are sponsored, and in which order.
The potential pieces:
* Where's the rest of it? (Backup Imgur Link) - NSFW
* Pie Family Christmas (Backup Imgur Link) - SFW
* Now Kiss! (Backup Imgur Link) - SFW
* These stockings are not suitable for rock collecting (Backup Imgur Link) - Slightly NSFW
* "Best Friends" on Christmas (Backup Imgur Link) - SFW
* Pants.. A Christmas Miracle! (Backup Imgur Link) - NSFW
Below we have possible questions you may have about this. I will add more questions to the list as people ask them.
Question: When is the cut-off point?
Answer: I will take donations until December 23, 2015.
Question: What if you don't finish all sponsored pictures by Christmas?
Answer: Then I'll keep working on Christmas pictures after Christmas, until I've finished all of the sponsored pieces.
Question: What if I sponsor a piece and it doesn't get enough money to be completed?
Answer: Well, these are donations, and really, I need the money to pay rent. You have the choice of donating more money to get the piece completed, or just enjoying the other pieces that do get completed, but I can't afford to return donations. I'm sorry.
Question: Can I sponsor more than one picture?
Answer: Absolutely! And you don't need to make separate donations for that - just tell me how much of your donation is going to each piece. So, if you donate 20 dollars, you can tell me that 5 go to one piece, and 15 to another! Or however you want to split it.
Question: Can I just give money to a general 'slush fund' to be applied to any picture, so a picture is close to funded, the money can just go towards it?
Answer: Absolutely! If you want some or all of the donation to go towards that, just state that fact along with the donation.
Question: What is the minimum donation?
Answer: There isn't really one. You could donate one dollar to a piece if you wanted. Of course I'm hoping you'll donate more than that! But whatever you want to donate is just fine by me. I'll be putting together a spreadsheet to do the math automatically, so odd amounts isn't going to mess me up too much.
Question: How do I donate?
Answer: Through Paypal. Using either my amethyst[at]wi.rr.com email or if that doesn't work for some reason, my brianblackberry42[at]gmail.com email address.
Also, given as a suggestion to me, donors would get a large, high resolution version of the image they sponsor.

Sounds fun, an added bonus that might help with the funding, is maybe to offer a large size version to those that sponcered to that pic? If it gets funded I guess. Just something another artist tried and seemed to work
