Potential gig on a cruise ship?

I got kinda good news
So one of my mentors called me and asked “So how connected to your town are you? and are you willing to leave the country?”
I’m like “….I’ve been itching to leave ever since I went to Germany” he said “Well are you available to do this cruise ship gig from January to July?”
Now…I’m stammering because of the cons I agreed to play at (TFF,BLFC) so I told him “I already kinda have 2016 scheduled but what are the details?”
He told me the details and how much it would pay per month…which is WAY more than what I make per gig on a weekly basis and I would play 6 nights a week.
I told him I was interested and he told me he would get me in touch with the musical director of the ship.
SO NOW I’m in the process of going through the audition process….I just hope I get it because….well as you guys recently read I didn’t get the gigs in South Africa (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7248806/) and that HIT ME HARD.
So now I'm at a crossroads
If I get this gig I'll have to leave the current gigs I have for 6 months as well not be able to perform with Bandthro at TFF or BLFC....unless I can get time off for those times which is not likely. Because Cruise ship hahaha.

A bummer that you wouldn't be seen at cons anymore, but there's always another time.
