The Newsletter! Week Four

Welcome to the fourth edition of the Fortnightly Furry Musicians Newsletter! As it's two days from Christmas, let's have some festive cheer!
Okay, that's quite enough. So, the year 2015 is soon coming to a close This being the last newsletter of 2015, the next one will be out on the 6th of January, gotta love fortnights eh? so we can look forward to going through all our music files for our upcoming albums and changing the five at the end to a six if it comes out next year and forgetting that it's 2016 and writing 2015 on everything... d'aw, ain't it great? I'm not one for new years resolutions, however I am somewhat enjoying looking back over my own personal back catalogue for this year and seeing how I have adapted and grown musically over 2015, something I found personally quite refreshing. I'm not saying "Stop reading this right now and go look at your old music and see what's changed", but I will vouch that it has put the effort I put in this year into perspective and I'm sure you will find the same is true for you. But even if it isn't, it doesn't matter! It's Christmas! Stuff your face in turkey, drink some high-octane juice and relax! There might even be something good on telly! But probably not... gotta love telly 'eh?
So, the question for today is do you have any musical plans for next year worked out already? Or do you prefer to move forward by the seat of your pants to speak? I know I have a few things planned for next year, EP's and projects to finish and other stuff to work on, but I'd be curious to know if people often like to plan their years in advance, or just go with the flow.
I have been given the OK by Puppy to go ahead with this next tiny bit, so I decided I shall do so. I have recently finished an EP of my own, which has come out today, if everything is timed correctly, it's a late 80's style Metal thing called "The Assembly EP" and you can download it for free here if you want to. You don't have to and I ain't about to make you. I was also going to put it in the add section, but it looked too much like I was shoving things down people's throat's so I decided to remove it from there and just have it here. And with that done, we're going to move right along.
"...No you won't fool the adverts of the revolution..."
Another one of those lyric ones... because why not? So far nobody's told me what any of the lyrics have been, so that's a little game for ya if you fancy that!

I'll be uploading a series of videos I find relevant on how to write for orchestras and particulary on how to deal with MIDI orchestras~
I hope it will benefit furry musicians who don't have the opportunity to work with musicians.

Next year... I don't really have that many plans yet. I may or may not compose a soundtrack for the sequel to Victernus; I still haven't decided yet. I do know that I will, most likely, be offering collaboration commissions with Whiluna (whiluna.deviantart.com), where the commissioner gets a picture and a song at the same time. Hopefully people will be interested when it is officially announced :3
I'm really hoping to compose music for video games at some point. If I managed to get a deal with someone, it'd fix a lot of things. Until then, I'm going to be working on a construction job to get by. I'm riding on the tail end of a foreclosure (my mom is losing our house), so it's going to be tough for a little while. I will be independent though, so I can only imagine that things will get better from here on out c:
