Types of commissions I offer

I offer all types of commissions excluding small parts, such as ears, tails and paws on their own, this is because I can only order in minimum half yards, and then things start to get expensive. I may do occasional giveaways, where tails paws and fursuit heads only are given out, but no other time will I accept small item commissions.

My commission prices

My base prices are as follows:
(all prices are in USD)

450+ for a fursuit head
650+ for a partial
850+ for a fullsuit

All base prices come with 2 colours, follow-me eyes and a lined head. To get an estimate for what your suit will cost I have put together a handy-dandy guide!

For every extra colour +60
Add claws +40
Add Horns +60
Add wings +50
Big tail +50
Painted markings +30
Fursuit prop +40
Collar +30

So for example, you wanted an angel dragon partial with 4 colours , the calculation would be:

650 Base
+60 for horns
+50 for wings
+120 for 2 extra colour
+50 for a big tail
= 930USD

The following can be added on for no extra cost (as I am still experimenting and perfecting this, no promises)
Flat eyes
Moving jaw
Digitigrade (maybe, am unsure yet, ask nicely and maybe, but no promises as to how it will look)

Character design

I won't do characters that have more than 8 fur colours, basically no complex out of control characters that look like a rainbow on crack had just thrown up all over a wolf...

I also will not recreate copyrighted characters, such as other suits (telephone, pocari, pikachu, winnie the pooh, etc)

All suit commissions come with concept art from the lovely (go commission them!)

Speaking of concept art...

If you don't have a reference, don't sweat! I can work with non ref art to get a concept art for you, if you don't have any art, then give me a detailed description, I'll probably colour in some lineart and then send that off to my concept artist
(they're the one with the artistic talent here, not me)

For under 18's

I require my commissioners to be at least 16 years of age, this is so that you don't grow out of your suit that you've spent so much money on! If you are under 16 I will have to talk to your parent or guardian about getting the suit.

Reasons I may cancel/refuse your commission

1. You're rude to me or disrespect me

If you aren't being a very pleasant person to work with, I may cancel your commission, a full refund will be given in this case.

2. If your messages are incomprehensible (aka bad grammar, spelling, ect)

If I cannot understand your messages because there are fullstops in random places, missing spaces and acronyms every second word. I will not spend a good 10 minutes squinting at your message going "its trying to communicate, I know it!". If you want a commission, try to speak like an adult, not a 12 year old girl. When we first make contact, it is a professional situation, act like it please.

3. If you don't respond to my messages

If you do not respond to my notes, skype messages, etc. I will not go scavenging the internet chasing you up. If you're going to be uncontactable for a period of time, let me know so I don't try to contact you until after that time. If the no response time is close to a month, I will give you a one week warning, if you don't respond within that time. Your slot will be forfeit.


The commission process

Once you have received your quote, if you wish to carry out the commission, give me a sign such as "I want the commission"
Then the process can begin!

First of all I will ask which slot you would like to reserve, and then reserve it for you, (obviously).
I will contact you before starting your slot to get information off you for shipping and suit preferences, these all go into a document so I can keep track of everything. These are never uploaded to any public space, if you would like a copy of the document, I will add it to your box when I ship your suit!

I will be starting your suit 2-3 months before the assigned slot month, I will require at least enough for the materials before I start your suit (I will be communicating this to you when you confirm your commission)

I require a dtd for fullsuits so I know it fits you perfectly and no guess work is involved! There are many tutorials online for how to make a duct tape dummy so do some googling.

Next step is sculpting all the foam for the suit (head and feetpaws), I will send you photos for review, then I can begin furring! The rest of the process is very similar, WIP's before anything is finalised, so I know you're 100% happy with how things are going.

I have many WIP options for my commissioners, they are listed below!

1. Weekly photos (this year, every Sunday!)
2. Timelapses at all stages of the suit making process
3. Skype calls for finer detail viewing and fixes
4. Surprise option (no WIP's provided)
5. Stream (coming soon!)

You can choose one or more of these options!
Please keep in mind I will be working on the other slot members suit at the same time as yours, this keeps things different for me, but shouldn't impact the time of arrival of your suit

Once your suit is complete, I will ship it off, then invoice you what it cost me to ship. I will always choose shipping with a tracking number for both my sanity and the suits security as it makes its way to you!

In the box, I always put in an extra surprise of one of the following as my thanks to you for your commission!
- Brush
- Fursuit prop
- Fursuit bandana
- Fursuit disinfectant spray

As well as a badge, my business card, some stickers and a guide to the care of your suit!
Once you have received your suit, let me know the condition it's in because Auspost can be a bit rough at times....

UNBOXING VIDEOS ARE ENCOURAGED! (please, that would be so cool)

Now you can go frolick at furcons, at home, in public etc as a big furry animal. Congrats.

Payment options

I accept only paypal because ANZ is a piece of shit. Also it's easier and quicker for me to receive payments, and start your suit sooner!

Once I have enough to begin your suit and fur has been ordered, the payment is now non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS!
If you wish to cancel your commission, you must do so before suit making has started, if you back out during suit creation, no refund will be given. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS!

I will only refund the amount that I do not use for materials (this should be 100-200 US)

I can do payment plans leading up to your slot, I can begin making your suit (foam wise) once 60 USD has been deposited. Once I have this, I will start carving foam, once I have up to 300 USD I will order your fur and furring can begin.

Shipping

All shipping will be at the expense of the commissioner unless a deal has been struck otherwise.
Once shipped, all suits will receive tracking info.

General terms of sale

I will not create a character that is copyrighted by a company eg. Nintendo.
I will not create characters that you don't own
I will not duplicate fursuits that already exist (that aren't owned by you)
I will not work on a deadline as I am doing this around study, however I can produce suits fairly quickly
If you post a picture of my suits please credit me!
I have a right to refuse a commission if the need arises, however I try to do all commissions sent to me.

Commissioner agreement

By commissioning me you agree to the following terms:

The commissioner will make the deposits before suit creation begins.
The commissioner will respect that if I am late for a slot I am working as fast as I can to get it to you.
The commissioner will not make any further changes to their character once fur and foam have been purchased.
The commissioner will provide all necessary info for their suit completion, knowing that none of it will be published anywhere except my personal computer.
The commissioner will respect the suit maker, and thus the suit maker will give respect in return
The commissioner understands that I have a right to cancel the commission at any time, and will be given a full refund if this is the case.
The commissioner understands that my prices are low because I am still learning, whilst there may be imperfections, the suit maker will try to remove those before it is sent out.

My agreement to you

I will provide WIP's if and when WIP's are requested
I will make any changes necessary of characters before the materials have been ordered
I will treat the commissioner with respect
I will try my best to make suits as high quality as possible
I will never rush a suit, time will be taken to make sure it is durable and quality!
I will strive to personalise any small aspects as required by the commissioner (eg, different eye outline shape, shorter fur, etc)


Giveaways
Occasionally I will host giveaways if I'm feeling generous, these will most likely be for a few tails and maybe a head.
Unless I have stated otherwise, shipping will be payed by the winner, I will need your address immediately after you receive the news, so I can have everything all ready to send to you!

Artistic liberty

My artistic liberty suits will only cost what materials cost, +200 dollars more.
You may give me one of the following for any artistic liberty suits:

A list of colours
A species
A theme (such as galaxy or fire)

Other FAQ's

What's your average turnaround time for suits?

That depends what is going on at that present time for me, if I'm working like I would a fulltime job, anywhere between 1 week to a month

How do I clean my suit

All suits come with a booklet on how to care for your suits! Have a look in there and it will tell you everything you need to know!

Can you do realistic?

HAHAHA.... I mean, I could try, but it would probably look like something that had just crawled out of the sewers.... 0/10 would not recommend

I really like _______'s suit, could you make something similar?

I won't replicate suits, however if you like a particular foam style or colours, I can probably work something out for you!

What do you make your suits out of?

I make my suits out of mainly upholstery foam, fur AND LOTS OF HOT GLUE. The fur that I use is Luxury Shag fur or punky muppet. I use this because it's easy to shave, high quality and super soft and cuddly!

Final words

I sincerely enjoy every email and note I get about suit commissions, it excites me to even have the opportunity to bring your characters to life!

I love fursuit making, although it can be a love-hate relationship at times (HOT GLUE GUN BURNS WHY). I put my heart and soul into every suit I make and I love seeing when it all comes together.
