How to Steam URL on FA | Because half of you got it wrong!

The footer is the truth.
It's not an insulting thing or anything, I'm sure most of you thought you could enter your steam login name and it would work, but FA does not use that. It wants your steam Custom URL ID. Not your steam login, stop doing that, it's a security risk. I'm going to not only tell you how to get your custom URL, but how to change it, and even show pictures.

If you already have a custom URL, simply load your profile in firefox or some such. It will automatically give you the ID by swapping the URL from profile/ to id/. Unless you load it in Steam which uses Internut Exploder type code and is a full of shit tool. So don't try it there.
Here is my custom URL: http;//steamcommunity,com/id/VasVadum/
Now, what you need, is everything between the / after id. http;//steamcommunity,com/id/THISHERE/games/
You will not need anything after the slash. So in this URL above, you would enter "THISHERE" in the furaffinity steam ID part to make your link work.
If you ever change your profile URL, it will become invalid on FA and any other place you gave it.

If you don't have a custom URL, your profile will most likely load with /profile/steam64idcode

Now, you will need to change your custom URL for it to work here on this site.

But if it did add a functionality to 'show' your steam tag, I think you'd get pages on FA that are akin to large quantities of [img]gamer_tag[/img] stuff, which I prefer not to have. The last thing this site needs is more clutter, it's unbearable on dA. If it's just the gamer tag itself, then I suppose it's not too bad.
I can put up with plethora of ASCII art supporting dragons(why..? Are they oppressed?) and stuff but I'm tired of scrolling 1m to 10m down a page to see a gallery. Rarrr, how dare they make me scroll 30cm down more!? Blutty dA!
But still, sometimes people have like 8 ASCII art on FA and it's just as insane. xD

Actually I think ASCII art is against the rules of FA. I'd have to ask Dragoneer about that. I recall it used to be because of the massive amount of people doing it. I dislike it too. It happens on Steam Comments all the fucking time too. "You've been visited by the stick figure, share this with 8 people or else" and then some stupid ass stick figure art below that maxing out the post's 1000 character limit.

In any case, FA could institute a size limit on [img] and a limit to the amount you can do. I've seen people like Saethwr using 6+ accounts to make an image they can put on their profile. I can't remember if it was 2 rows or 3, or 3 rows of 4. But it was a lot of accounts to make one image. :P

I also recall some sites let you do [hr=x] for different styles of horizontal lines. :P
