Well, I haven't seen it yet, but maybe they are a vegan society? I mean, I don't eat meat, I haven't in almost two and a half years. It isn't that hard with a good diet and technological advance to have foods that can fully replace a meat-based or omnivorous diet with a fully vegan one.

Evolution takes thousands and thousands of years. And it wouldn't work at all if the females and males based sexual attraction on features like that. Since they are sapient they kind of get to override evolution.

Also, am vegetarian, still have canines and sharp front teeth common to all the humans. Jainists are a group that has been vegan since their religion was invented and they still have the same teeth. xb

I believed that in that world, only mammals evolved. For carnivores, they still eat bird like chicken and things like that and fish/reptiles. Since in the movie, it really only depicts mammals and only they are ever addressed, I would assume that the other species are still as we see them.

I'm kinda curious about if/how interspecies relationships work. Is it impossible to have a crossbreed or can there be hybrids, if even a slim chance? Granted they couldn't say stuff like that since it's still a kid's film but it'd be interesting for disney to look into. Plus what other parts of their world looks like. We only got some looks of the sections of Zootopia and Judy's hometown, so it'd be a bonus to see another place and if there are other species they haven't shown.

I don't think it was forced in the idea that they've fallen in love with each other (yet anyway), it was more of that they've gotten used to one another with their conversations.

I'm pretty I remember hearing that they mention the predators eat fish in an book or something. No word on the status of birds and reptiles.

To be honest i do think the other animal kingdoms havnt been included simply because it would be too costly to make bases for all the extra animal kingdoms not to mention that aquatic and airborne species would add even more complexities/variables that the designers would have to fit into the world of zootopia. I dont realy believe in the idea of other kingdoms having remained primitive as there still would have been mention of them in some form.

And considering they are advanced enough to have created a city with sectioned off climate zones, it stands to reason they are advanced enough to be able to grow artificial meat in the same way research today is being done with growing human body parts in the petri dish or on animals..

I'm leaning towards the people who say that the other types of creatures to exist but in their own cities. Although it seems that at the very least scalies could probably come and function in zootopia (like in the savanah area), I would think that avians would have an entire city in the sky type of world and wouldn't be inclined to live amongst the walking species.

Like us, not all lines of animals would have evolved. There are probably primitive feral critters out there that the predators could eat. Or, as you noted, there weren't any birds or reptiles/amphibians, etc. in the world, so those are all possibilities too. And don't forget seafood!
