Yeah, was in a group on FB, guy just starts rude about it. I try not to make the marks completely cover the pic so ppl can see how it looks in some way too. >.<

hes prob like you said.. one of those people who like to steal. cause i mean its not like you make your watermarks so heavy that you cant see the character. Like for example with alec the wickerbeast i have from you. before we bought him, he had enough watermarking on him to where people couldnt take him but we all could still fully see the design.

I always watermark any unsold adoptables. The person who buys them gets the unwatermarked versions and can post them if they wish, I just protect things while I can.

Totally agree that people who complain about watermarks are probably shady characters.

Exactly. Most Art beware posts I see are designs/adopts posted or stolen by others, and they weren't watermarked. Someone reposted one of my designs on FB here long ago...which was watermarked lol, ironically it sold days after but still, the person who took it is a known art thief. >.<

now i would understand where that guy was coming from if the artist didnt give a unwatermarked verison of the picture after they bought it, but since you apparently do then should be all fine just ignore those types.

Yeah, I would be glad to show off the adopts fully if it wasn't for the main issue of ppl stealing designs all over FB/FA etc. I do see a lot of people posting those without them which I worry about. Only time i'd post the adopt without a mark is if im asked to change colors of it and such, then i'd post it like that as if it was a commssion. I use to post designs without the watermarks, rather im glad other artists pushed me to put watermarks on them. Tinypic seems to be posting pics JPEG now, which I use to give the buyer the full art, so gonna have to start emailing them it instead because, suppose to be PNG. Stressing. X_X

But aside from that, the guy kept calling me paranoid, but I blocked him and such, so atleast that's over.
