Welcome to the tenth edition of the Fortnightly Furry Musicians Newsletter! We've hit a decade! So, this makes 10 newsletters and 20 weeks since I started writing them.
I'm going to keep this short since he wasn't a popular enough person for a long discussion as much as it pains me to know this..., but as I'm sure you know, recently there's been a lot of death's in the music world. Most recently was the tragic suicide of Keith Emerson, former keyboard player of The Nice and Emerson, Lake and Palmer, among many other things I'm sure. I know Keith was a big influence on my music, and to know he had the same illness, being depression, that I continue to suffer from certainly brings the whole thing down to earth somewhat. It's a pity that he's gone and he will be missed. If you've never had the joy of hearing his works, I'd definitely suggest looking into some ELP stuff.
On another note, I have noted that during the winter time, basically December-February, there is a lull in the amount of music released. However, as you'll see, there's a fair bit going on in this issue and I foresee this continuing throughout the months to come, though my "post winter lull" hasn't exactly been broken yet. A combination of a lack of hard-drive space needed to save music files and a lack of time to work on music has made it quite hard to get back into the swing of things, though maybe one day I will.
Going back to the "winter-lull", I do wonder if there are times of the year where people all release their albums almost together. I can see why you wouldn't do it in December or January, you haven't really had time to work on music with all the people around and so forth, so maybe there are times when you make more music...
So I suppose I'll pose the question, "Do you think there's a certain month or months in the year that you get more music made and released?"
Without further ado;
"Adverts upon the ocean..."
Now that IS obscure...

--- Collaborations and Musician Requests ---
Viliam is looking for a female vocalist in order to do a duet of the song Hikaru Nara. Knowing a language other than English is not required, I have been told that the song is itself in English, so that won't be an issue.

=== Upcoming Events ===
17th-19th March 2016 -
4Strings4Wolfy is on tour of the US, visiting Mississippi, Los Angeles and Texas. Dates and info in the link.
You will have to scroll down, though I would assume that one unable to scroll down a web page would also be unable to attend a concert venue without rolling ones self in petrol and setting themselves on fire...

If you'd like something featured in the newsletter, drop either me (
PascalFarful ) or the FA musicians page a note with details or drop a shout on the FA Musicians page! I would add that sending me notes increases your chance of me not loosing your message.
I've lately developed a challenge to produce one new cover a week, starting work on Sunday and carrying through each day until a video of the finished product is posted on my YouTube and Facebook on Thursday. If I fail to do this, I have to upload a video of me eating my one most despised food in all the world: cauliflower. My mate keeps me accountable for this (since he loves the idea of having a chance to torture me each week with cauliflower). Since I started this challenge five or six weeks ago, I've been successful every single week.
