[Poll] Who's Number One?
So I've noticed a bit of a trend, and that's the fact that every time I create a cast I almost always lean towards a strong female lead. Now it could have something to do with my transgender leanings, or that I've always loved strong female characters in fiction. In either case, now that I've got a few of them and I'm working towards telling some pretty epic stories, at least I hope they come out that way....
IRIDESCENCE Lauren Rivers
My main universe, Lauren is a female zebra and my main fursona. Lauren in her universe is a Talwyn master of water. While her story has evolved over the course of many versions, she's always kept the blue hair. Some things that have sort of developed in the newest version is her relationship with Chris and Topaz has become more complicated, and with the prequel stories I've been able to work out a full history for her. Forced into a sort of battlefield leadership position, it's her job to free her people from Ashurian control, while at the same time keeping the Keystones out of their hands.
Determined and yet alone, Lauren tries to lead her people back to prosperity.
JOURNEYS Diana Lynwood
Originally its own universe but since established as a spinoff occurring at about the same time, Diana is a fish out of water when she first shows up in the world where the story takes place. Diana is an archer and a member of her people's nobility. Her homeland, Aldris, is removed from this world by magical influence, and it's been gone for long enough that it's faded into legend. Though at first I had not planned for there to be a follow up, I've since developed plans for several follow ups to the story that will fill in a number of gaps, such as Ethan, Rhodes, and Diana's backstories, as well as explanations to why the events of the first story unfolded as they did.
Diana has a docked tail and ears due to a tradition in her homeland, and while at first she is overwhelmed when she becomes trapped in our world, she soon becomes a strong warrior when she encounters Rhodes and Ethan and they begin their travels together.
WANDERING ROADS Kate Coyle Lucy McKane
A series yet to premiere in comic form and so far with no plans for a written installment, Kate is equally the lead along with Lucy McKane when it comes to this series.
Kate Coyle is a con artist with a complex past. Concieved as part of a con, her mother took her from her loving father at a young age, training her to be like her until she was no longer convenient. Meeting Lucy at a low point in her life, Kate teaches Lucy to be strong and spirited.
Lucy is an office worker with a fairly vanilla lifestyle and a normal sex life. When she meets Kate she moves in with the snake and finds she is not like anyone she's ever met before. Kate teaches Lucy to be adventurous and Lucy teaches her what it's like to have a family.
SUNSET'S EDGE Sierra Walker
Taking place in a post apocalyptic world after the war, Sierra is a kinkajou and to my awareness, the only one leading her own series that I know of.
Skilled in shooting, Sierra is a nomad, wandering the remnants of the United States with her friend Kieran Reynolds. While at first simply ekeing out a living, she soon finds herself involved in events that reach back to the pre war world, and those seeking to build a new one.
Sierra is a bisexual.
MLP: ECLIPSE/NIGHTFALL Lauren (Pony)
In a story so far to my knowledge parallel to MLP, I create a tale that hopefully goes alongside the parent series doing my best to expand the universe in directions that the main series is unable to do.
Lauren is the leader of the Shadowbolts, and unlike her other incarnation she has no magic or abilities other than being a zebra. In her genuine and caring manner she attempts to bring the zebras together with the ponies of Equestria, while defending it from the various threats it faces.
BLUE MOON Logan Ellison
My newest heroine, originally intended as the secondary protagonist she's sort of worked her way into the lead role. Logan is a newly transformed werewolf, who will soon find there is a whole different world underneath our own.
Somewhat of a reluctant heroine, she is a private detective that lives and works in the city. One evening she gets infected while on the job and learns to her surprise, werewolves are real. Piece by piece, she discovers just what kind of forces are allied for and against her, and what it means to be a werewolf.
UNTITLED PROJECT Lexi Douglas
In a project under development with
MeganBryar, Lexi is a high school student who has only recently become aware of her powers (which I'm still not sure on). She is brave and gutsy, with a rebellious streak and a kind heart. Uncertain where she fits, she finds herself tossed in the middle of powerful forces moving to control or destroy those like her.
EXODUS RISING Quill
The only one I didn't invent, Quill is a little tweaked for the space series, but I picture her core personality much like her player.
Quill is a strong and intelligent woman handed a surprise during a job when she encounters a cargo of dinosaur soldiers that were supposed to be extinct. Now stuck with them, she must follow her conscience and help them to free their friends before the forces allied against them have their way. She belongs to

How many of them do you know? Which one is your favorite? Any questions for any of the ladies? I'll let Enmesarra answer any for Quill. ;)
Expect an announcement for Blue Moon to drop later today. ;)

I've got a few questions for a few of the girls.
For Lauren: How has Topaz been lately?
For Kate and Lucy: What do you two like to do for fun?
Kate: Tennis is always fun, and going out for a movie.
Lucy: I just like to relax at home, though Kate usually drags me out.
For Kate and Lucy: Interesting. Do you girls think that I can be your friend?
You have so many wonderful characters, it's a really tough choice. But I think I'd have to go with Lauren and Quill, both because they're such fascinating characters and because they belong to such wonderful people. Diana is pretty far up there, too, as I love her whole concept, and because she seems like a pretty nice person, too.
What attracts you to Diana? :)
Questions:
For Lauren: Do you tap-dance in those hooves?
For Kate: Can I have my body back please? :D
Kate: No, I'm enjoying it too much, these feet hands come in handy!
