The last time I issued an art challenge to my watchers, I didn't know nearly as many people, nor had as many interested watchers as I do now.

So since I'm feeling good this memorial day, I got a great idea for something that I REALLY want to see on FA.

The fighters of Punch-Out!!...

...Anthropomorphized!!!

I've been thinking to myself, what would the Punch-Out!! fighters be if they were furries?

Bear Hugger (Salmon Arm, BC, Canada) - Grizzly Bear
Great Tiger (Mumbai, India) - Bengal Tiger
Don Flamenco (Madrid, Spain) - Flamingo (Get It) / Spanish Fly
Aran Ryan (Dublin, Ireland) - Ram / Irish Setter
Soda Popinski (Moscow, Russia) - Timber Wolf / Polar Bear
Bald Bull (Istanbul, Turkey) - Longhorn Bull
Super Macho Man (Hollywood, CA) - Rooster / Fox
Mr. Sandman (Philadelphia, PA) - Tapir / Pitt Bull
??? (???,???) - (No need. This guy is already anthropomorphized)

Feel free to add other animals that you think fit the bill. Since all the characters in game are all stereotypical in some way or another (in a cartoonish way), I figure why not go over the top with designs here? :)

Now I don't really have any prizes on hand to give away for whoever makes the best Punch-Out!! pic, but I've got some goodies I've collected that I might be able to part with.

I do still have that Limited Edition Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Cel-Art Lithograph that I was going to give away for the raffle...

...which got canceled and I DO still have it.

In the meanwhile, the time limit for this contest will be by the end of the 3rd week of June. So that would be midnight, June 20th! All art submitted before then can be considered for judging.

Judging will be done by an impartial group of judges (friends of mine) who will vote on the pieces based on the following criteria:

Quality of Art
Usage of Theme
Originality

If this goes well, I might hold other challenges like this in the future.

Now, I want some good clean art, and come out drawing!
