Did anything land on him in the fire, or is this all just smoke inhalation issues?

He had 2 3rd degree burns 4 second degree burns and a few 1st degree burns on the back of his right leg/thigh.

We took him this time because he was having a pain in his left side and was urinating blood.

I'm curious though as to why he'd be urinating blood. I didn't think that would be associated with epidural burns or smoke inhalation. That sounds more like a kidney, bladder, possible pancreas, or maybe a gallbladder issue o_o

He has been on blood thinners ever since blood clots were located in his right leg.
The smoke inhalation almost caused his heart to stop so that plus not being able to breathe
AND being in a bed for 2 weeks resulted in a severe lack of oxygen in his blood for proper
flow. He had 2 clots in his leg and had to have an emergency IVC filter placed

since he was no where NEAR ready to be taken out of the hospital yet. He has to be
on blood thinners during the time the filter is in place. So his INR blood levels are monitored.
Sometimes the levels get to high which results in you bleeding from rather inconvenient areas mainly
when you pee. If the blood becomes too thin it will kill you.
