Places to find me

I'd be very unhappy to see FA disappear as in spite of its flaws. A big chunk of personal and (most importantly) inner history of a lot of people is documented here, and it is the only real hub of the furry community, where it is possible to find a lot of old school fans and artists side to side with newer members and with some unique artists who normally wouldn't bother with a furry-only website. But if the hackers really managed to grab the site's source code, and if the code is really as bad as it's rumored to be, we can expect a non-stop sequence of attacks and downtime in the next months which will effectively make FA unusable... so I guess it's time to prepare for the worst.
Here are the other places where I can be found:
- https://beta.furrynetwork.com/scale/ - At first I was severely put off by bugs and terrible user interface, but after the last update the interface feels a lot better, so I'll be using it more.
- http://alessio-scalerandi.deviantart.com/ - I use this often.
- http://animalshapes.blogspot.com/ - Personal blog about anthropomorphism and erotic art.
There's these too but they aren't updated frequently:
- http://rangifer.tumblr.com/ - I post some WIPs there, no reblogs.

Something that might be of some small interest to you : I collect 19th and 20th century Italian handwriting books and one of the most notable Italian professional teachers of handwriting of the 19th and early 20th century lived in Torino/Turin, and I managed to find a book of his with a dedication personally written in it, by him, to a friend :

It is an epitome of the art of La Bella Scrittura. Handwriting is an much neglected art in these times, but I think it is good to wonder how anthro animals would write, because their chunky paw fingers, or hoof fingers and anatomy would have effects on the preferred shapes and forms.
Characters like Wrrrona, with her large claws, could carefully shape and file them for use as a pen. And creatures with feathers could pluck them to write with.
And oddly enough I had never thought about "claw writing" but it does sound like a cool idea, I'm sure mustelids and ursines could do it!
Also I just looked at your blog and saw your restaurant exhibit, and that's lovely! Publicly exhibiting nude anthro art is something I want to do in the future. People need more exposure to see that just because it's anthro and has nipples it can still be fine art. They need to understand that there is no difference between a bare breasted woman on a classical painting and a bare breasted anthro character on a modern one in terms of artistic value.
I'd love to see more furry artists exhibiting their works outside of our tiny spaces and I certainly hope you'll get a chance. Not all styles and subjects are fitting for that but I think many of us are seriously underestimating the diversity of the art world out there. There is a lot of stuff which is far more outlandish than furry nudes and I think there are quite a lot of furry artists whose works wouldn't look out of place next to modern art, pop art or alternative art in general. I want to explore the possibilities as much as I can.
People are weird. Something done by a "great artist" is all fine, but the same done by an unknown hobbyist is disgusting and unacceptable. Picasso drew some explicit sex scenes but that's OK because he is Picasso - if he painted anthro porn, that would be OK too because he is Picasso... that's how people work.
So my way of thinking is that a controversial or taboo topic presented by someone who otherwise earned recognition with their art is much more easily accepted by people. So presenting the anthro theme on a fine art level is a way to break out of the stereotype of furry art not being "real art".
If someone tries to intimidate you, make fun of you or try to put you in bad light with pointing out taboo things about you, and you smile and admit it as something totally natural, they won't have any leverage on you.
