Gap on the shield

Seconding Scale's journal, I agree on his point for the site is potentially going to be unusable.
Plus it was a letdown in my eyes that the day I just uploaded something I have trouble finding the inspiration that well and produce out something for entertaining, suddenly with so many appreciation for my contribution suddenly go down the sink, and everything with it is gone.
I don't believe people would like to keep telling the same over again and it would never get the same appreciation again as its magic was done, so I don't find its point to reupload what was lost. Should IMVU consider to keep a daily Backup Task automation, I might do it again, but given with such low standards I am genuinely announcing that as a boycotting of where FA has gone and what it resulted the site have proven plenty over a decade have proven me enough, I don't have my trust for the site anymore.
Note system has become unreliable from this point forward, from now on I shall stick to e-mails once someone would like to give me a Personal Message.
From now on I will check messages here, but barely contributing anything on FA anymore.
Here you can find me however:

Where should I follow you to keep updated with your art?
Actually hesitating to become active there as well like I am on IB. Would actually be nice if it was to start being a thing, and that FA would stop being the place where every furry has to be.
Echoing the above question, which site do you foresee being your main art repository? I can't afford the time to check them all.
I don't want to come off as a jerk or being blunt or something but everytime an artist just abandons posting here because they're 'paranoid its going to be unusuable' I just usually stop watching them, for me its not worth tracking the same people over multiple sites when 95% of them are on FA. Which is a bummer cause I really think your art is quite great! Just a point to think about I suppose.
Weasyl was supposed to be amazing, so far it's had a small fraction of people here even make copy accounts there, and I often see many of them migrate right back here when they realize they lost most of their followers. I think replacing FA is like the mythical "WoW killer" it probably won't happen, and if it does people won't be saying it will, it will happen slowly and unexpectedly.
Reposting your stuff on multiple sites is fine, expecting to move away from FA and everyone will follow you will just result in disappointment.
I understand your point there and the reason for that would be just fine, I would not mind get a de-watch. Do I care about it? Sort of. Can I do anything about it for one or a dozen of those? I just wish I could. This site is a sinking ship and I already boarded the Nautilus.
I only upload my intellectual products there and everywhere else as well by doing everyone a favor and just allowing them to technically see for free. I de-watched artists who used to possess a great style which they later sold their quality on the expense for quantity when Patreon kicked in and most artist started raising their money through it. I will earn a couple of de-watch here as well for speaking my mind on this, but so be it, I won't mind. It's their freedom, then again: I will not agree with those choices.
Of all honesty, I wish people stopped contributing on FA and use other sites to finally realize there are more than just FA out in the open of the cybersphere, and not to stick to just one site at all. I know some people who only use tumblr because they don't intend to contribute on FA either.
Should FA refine their code from scratch, I might considering contributing again.
Should you result me in a de-watch, I don't hold you back from it. I am not loosing my head over loosing audience. I was never intending to be famous either anyway. I tasted its small drips and I regretted its field already. I prefer to stay behind the scenery.
Is FA a sinking ship? Quite honestly I don't think it is, I think people want to pretend it is because then they feel they're justified in switching to another service. The reality is simple, most reasonable people would say a lot of the crap that happens here on FA is unnecessary, often unprofessional, or completely unwarranted. Is it? Probably, I probably agree it is.
But even with that unprofessionalism, they still get the site back up, they still give us cheese and crackers and cheery promises and for the next 6 months the site usually runs pretty well, and so people stay. I think if the website was really as horrible and untolerable and the grass was greener on the other side, then people would actually move.
But they don't, they don't because they don't want to. It's like the argument you get from linux people, they claim windows is popular because people are inept idiots, they claim their so and so distro is much superior, safer, more flexible, blah blah blah linux is better in every possible way. Yet for all their talk and self indulgence those people do not switch, and often have no reason to switch.
Let me reiterate that last point, no other furry website has given people a reason to leave FA. Until they do, most people never will. I mean you're welcome to do whatever you like, your life, your art. But I wouldn't be surprised if you purposefully avoid posting your art to FA and try just posting it to other places that you will lose a lot of people following you, in the mechanical sense and in the actual viewer count sense. But hey that's just me.

Uhmmmmmmmm... To be honest?... I have never seen that much people follow me back again on FN unlike back on IB or Weasyl altogether following me there within such short time period(and it's stil counting), which means something they start to give trust for FN. You would be surprised, but the number of people started registering there and finding me there as well keeps running up and the traffic is increasing there. Perhaps this wonder will last a couple of months(we will see), but it's already kicking in surprisingly.
It's conceivable people will move to FN and stay there but I just have a hard time believing it, I personally will never move there because of certain administration decisions that I already consider as bad as FA but hey, that's just me.
