Hey guys! If you are having troubling accessing your account to change the password or have a friend with this issue I may or may not be able to provide you guys with some guidance as I personally just experienced these troubles!

Use the Password Recovery Tool here at https://www.furaffinity.net/lostpw/
"I no longer have access to the email originally linked with my account!"
This is the issue I had. You must send FA an email from a working email address to accounts[at]furaffinity.net for assistance.
You WILL be asked for some sort of verification of your account, you can speed up this process by just already including it in the first email you sent.
Includes things like:
Username
Original email you used even if you dont have access to it anymore
Use your paypal email to contact them (Bonus if you have your paypal listed somewhere on your front page/journals/comments)
Link other sites you may be well known on
Offer PSD files of work in your gallery
or any other information that could verify you as the owner of the account.
"I dont remember the email I used for my account!"
Follow the instructions above, just explain you dont remember your first email.
" I heard hotmail accounts don't recieve FA emails, is this true?"
I used a hotmail account to contact FA and I didnt have any problems sending or receiving on my end. However, if you are worried about this you can add these emails to your whitelist accounts[at]furaffinity.net & noreply[at]furaffinity.net
If you're not sure how to do this: Go to your email and click Settings > Options > Safe and Blocked Senders > Safe Senders > Then add the emails to your list. Also check your blocked senders to make sure FA's emails are not added there.
Please remember that it takes FA awhile to respond to your emails, It took them about 16 hours to respond to mine so be patient. Sending multiple emails in hopes the response will be faster will only make the over-all process to replying slower and confusing for staff. Send 1 email and wait patiently, it may take even 24hours before they reply.

ALSO I'm going to be using furaffinity untill it literally breaks! I love FA, even if the people running the site can be pretty incompetent at times.

Don't store sensitive information on sites that aren't secure. That includes any art website, and damn near any website period.
Once again, within the week they'll all be back because nowhere else can match FA's population.
People give this site shit (some of it totally viable) but some like to shit on it just for the sake of it...that kinda urks me.
I couldn't agree more. Sure, the staff isn't always the best, but...hell...this site's given me a lot of friends. I can't leave.
My main account it currently in a bind at the moment but this journal is incredibly helpful.
I have one last question. Did you use a Hotmail email? I've been seeing a lot of people having issues with people not receiving email replies because of that reason.
Make sure you add this email to your whitelist accounts[at]furaffinity.net and noreply[at]furaffinity.net if you're worried :o

SoFurry is the only one that I check daily, or maintain a gallery on. But, I check the other ones maybe once a month, and it's good to have them, just as avenues to contact artists I'm waiting on commissions from if FA is down.
(including the original email and the username) but my account that i'm blocked out of is a secondary account based around a species of dragon i created.. i can provide the PSD files for some of the stuff if that helps when they reply, but for now i'm still hoping that i can regain access ;w;

These fucks need to get off their asses and not run a website in the most incompetent manner possible.
