Uh? I've never heard of kangaroos doing that to a stranger kangaroo? They're very territorial... I could maybe see nose nuzzles for their babies... but other random kangaroos?

Older male are territorial but females and young most definitely kiss and lick each other in greeting. It's also part of the bonding process when jills and joeys get big enough for mum to stick her nose in the pouch. My point wasn't so much about roos as it was to say that just because it's OK with some animals to do that it's not OK for humans to.
