What's going on
I've decided to run another story raffle, this time with a couple of twists. The raffle shall start with a game of mafia, with a number of players based around how many people join. I will then write a story based on how the game plays out as well as getting an art piece for it.


The Costume Mafia!

Setting: Chaos has erupted at a local grand costume party of Mr and Mrs Hukal when the guests suddenly find themselves transformed! It would seem that some of the guests came to the crash the party, can the others manage to suss out who's responsible in time?

The game will start with each player transformed based on somebody's costume, not necessarily their own. For example: If somebody's character brings a pokemon costume, someone else might find themselves transformed into a similar pokemon.


How it will play: The game will be separated into two distinct phases, which for the purposes of game we will refer to as day and night, each phase will be announced in a journal entry.

When a player is 'killed' off their character will receive a debilitating transformation instead of receiving actual death; such as inanimate, being turned into a feral, or a strong mental change. If you do not wish your character to receive that kind of change make sure to mention it in your sign up post and it can be written off as your character getting sent off in some fashion instead.

If you are killed off then you will still get into the group picture

The day phase With each day phase I will announce who got killed during the previous night phase (nobody durring the first day phase). Then players will then have three days (real time) to roll play and vote in the journal comments for who they think should be lynched. While the role play is not required for this game, it will help me get a feel for your character in the story.

If a player receives a majority vote then the day cycle ends immediately even if all the players haven't voted. If the vote is a tie then no players will be lynched that day. Make sure you get your votes in before the three days are up.

The night phase During the night phase, some players will have special actions they, or their faction, can perform as well as communication with their faction. Saying what you want to do for any special actions that you have, as well as talking with your faction, is to be done through PMs. Same as the day phase, you will have three days (real time) to make sure that you get your special actions in.

If I receive conflicting orders, such as two party crashers saying their faction is going to kill different people, then I will randomly choose which one occurs.


How to enter: Simply reply to this journal with a character reference as well as saying what costume they came to the party with. If you do not have a picture reference then a text description should be fine, but I may need to get clarifications for the artist. While I am not planning on having much (if any) outright sexual acts in the story, I do want the option for more adult stuff, so characters must be adults.


Notes:

If you have any transformation preferences or types you don't want to happen to your character then please make sure to mention that in your entry.

There will be a zero tolerance policy on meta gaming (Ex: “I can prove I'm an innocent guest because my secret role PM says...”). This will get you removed from the group picture as this kind of behavior ruins the experience.

I will be saving the more detailed transformation descriptions for the story, so don't worry if they appear to be a little light during the game.
