Dan Patrick should be tried for treason.

Bush got plenty of blame for things that were not directly his fault but happened on his watch, like 911 and hurricane katrina and the financial crisis. All presidents deserve some blame and some credit for things that happen on their watch.

Criminals are already going to break the law so banning semiautomatic weapons would not have stopped this tragedy. I mean events like Columbine happened when we had a ban on such weapons in place. I do think unbiased psychological screenings of anyone buying a gun should be required. I also think mandatory training in gun safety and law should be required for anyone owning a gun, renewed once every one or two years.

I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and hate when states ban assault rifles (like Maryland for example) but I do believe that this country needs to have universal background checks and increased funding for mental health services.

All Presidents get blamed and the fact Obama is black shouldn't be used in this context to insinuate some kind of racial bias in the form of his detractors. You can disagree with someone and not be because of race.

That said I do expect some kind of racially coded response from Trump. That man appeals to the idiots and wackos that's like this country to go back to the 50s when certain people "knew their place" and never questioned it.

What is this world coming to? Seems like violence of this magnitude is only happening more and more, or at least being brought to media attention far more frequently. And while Orlando was horrible, another tradegy almost took place recently as well, where a gay parade in West Hollywood was going to be bombed.

It is definitely fucking sad that when some shit like this happens. The fact that one goes out of his way to commit such a gruesome crime like this it's just sickening. I heard the guy even called 911 to pledge allegiance to ISIS while he was at it, that son of a bitch😠. 😔 Anyway, I conclude this by taking a moment of silence for the victims of the unfortunate incident even with this Instagram post down below.

I'm at the point of disbelief of how far we have come, like of all the shootings that has happen, I'm feeling really sad may those people rest peacefully but I'm like about to cry cause I always thought we as human beings can work together to prevent tragedy from happening but now it seems that we trying to aim our hate, blaming, and or stupid remarks on the president and though idk enough all the stuff Obama has done but for a president to try to find ways to be sure we don't have more mass shootings we lost amazing people, children who will never get to achieve there dreams, and so many people who lives are gone and there friends and family who never see theme again and im sorry for this long post but we have to do something.

Since Obama was first elected, Republicans have systematically obstructed him in every way possible. If he were white, we would've had a gun control bill passed by now and that's just one bill overdue for approval.
