I'm diggin the theme, but I feel like this would be more for a personal challenge than a portfolio piece. I feel like I excell more in attire design over color related things, so while it might be fun, I don't think it'd come out well enough to show in an interview.

I'm really interested in this, but nervous about it for fear I'm misunderstanding something. It's really as simple as posting a reference, writing potamto, and getting a chance to be part of this? Well, usually I wouldn't be brave enough to put my character forth for something like this, but Foxinov has spoken highly of you to me, so I think I'll go ahead and see how it goes.

Race: Silver Dragon, although he stays in his human form for his mission
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 210
Hair color: White
Eye color: Green, almost emerald like
Hair Style: short and wavy, parted down the middle
Facial features: Has a scar on his right cheek that looks like he was sliced by a sword, but otherwise has normal facial features. His face is soft, but strong with his normal expression being one of thought and fortitude. His tone sounds deep and protective, as if hiding a dark secret. Probably because he is. (Think Stereotypical paladin face)
Sir Feyrkalaen, his true name, is a silver dragon of only 15 years of age yet tasked with a charge of his life. Born into a family of Dragon Vanguard, he has been tasked with the human race instead of his own. His mission, to keep the human chapter of the holy order of Lendys in check. To make sure that their power was not being abused, and that they were still true to the code. He is not allowed to be a dragon unless absolutely necessary, nor is he allowed to mention such a thing for it might endanger his mission. He is a Paladin, both human and dragon, but for now no one must know his real identity. His name, Sir Kolind, is only a moniker. (Look up his name backwards in draconic). Despite his age, he appears to be a middle aged male human, and his dragon form is not much bigger.
His armor looks like one from the order of Lendys, the Paladin order of dragons that seek judgement upon the living. Big shoulderplates along with a decorative chest piece that has a dragon in flight on it. The armor is a solid sheen of steel, bulky to offer a lot of protection with the paladin-esque trim of a shimmering gold. His sword, a bastard sword, emblazoned with runic carvings and a hilt matching his own armor style. The shield also matching, along with a large dragon emblazoned on the front, this one more of a watchful dragon rather than one in flight like the one upon his chest. His helmet has frills along the side, same color as his armor, but he tends not to wear it. He feels as though people should see his face and not hide behind some mask. When he doesn't wear it, he has it tied to his belt.

This guy was/is a D&D character, and I'm horrible at drawing things so I pulled it from online to show my D&D group a general image of what my guy looks like. More often than not I use words to describe him, hence the wall of text. Now if you want, you can draw him with as much artistic freedom and imagination as you want with the description I gave you. Quite honestly I'll take anything.

I think I have a good idea of what I'd want Damien to be, though. But I'm leaning in two totally different directions. I'd either make him a blood-thirsty feral savage or a blood-thirsty celestial savage.

Sounds interesting either way. Haven't seen Damian portrayed in a "dark" light before. Also, I have to admit, "celestial savage" sounds like a delicious contradiction.

Also, after seeing some of the RPG character mentions, it reminds me that I actually have a gnoll character named Kriv who might work for this, but while I have him illustrated twice, neither are quite "reference" materiel I think.

Understood. The first time I saw the name, it was spelled Damian, and from experience, I'm in the minority in that familiarity. A lot of people spell it Damien out of what I'd call force of habit. I think I also pronounce it a little different, like Day-Me-Ann, instead of Day-Me-Ehn.

Yeah, it slides off my tongue like day-mien, two syllables. Ill have to think of a way to remember the spelling, like spell it Damianne just to remmeber there's an "a" rather than an "e".

I have a couple of ideas, if you like. I have a D&D4E character named Issthkaor. Gold Dragonborn Paladin Blackguard, alignment neutral - yes, neutral. Vice: Fury. Walks around everywhere in heavy, highly ornamented plate armour from hell that glows ethereally blue, and a fuck-off big enchanted pike in his claws. And a spare axe on his back, just for the hell of it. Personality: combine ego, libido and id, stir vigorously, add a large amount of self-interest, don't-give-a-fuck and love of money, season with cynicism and opportunism and frost with loving to wade through blood and gibs up to his armpits. Armour is either totally clean, or covered with --- well: "with shit; not just any kind of shit, either, but the special kind of shit that only certain people encounter when they go looking for it and are not disappointed."

The other creature comes from an imaginarium of mine, where creatures of dreams and night live, work and thrive. Night-mares are real, lethevores steal the forgetfulness of sleep, and pray you never meet an eidolovore... But the creature I have in mind is a night-stallion: part horse, part dragon, part Anubis-like jackal, with the cunning and benevolence of Nyarlathotep. He will give you all you ask for and take all that he desires of you, he will terrorise you and delight you, show you places and worlds beyond your wildest imaginings in your dreams, and the price... Oh, let's not talk about such vulgar matters right now: surely you'd like to try this, I found it just for you...
