(Wow that title literally only just fit.)
Hello, and welcome one and all - this is an open invitation for you to join the Chapel of Wrestling Spirits! Some of you may have come here already aware of what you're getting into, others... Well, read on, and see if you'd be interested!
-WHAT IS C.O.W.S?-
C.O.W.S (aka, Chapel of Wrestling Spirits) is a SFW solo-writing project to be written by... well, to be written by me! C.O.W.S is essentially meant to be a fictional wrestling promotion of sorts, operating off of it's own feuds and stories that I hope to write out to entertain you wonderful people! Essentially, it's a long form story/serial based within a single wrestling promotion, nothing too complicated to it!
Of course, I'm looking for volunteers to fill the company up! Primarily, looking to you guys to source some characters to me to fill up roles as wrestlers, commentators, managers, etc. If you think you'd be interested, well, check out how to sign up below! If you're on the fence... well, read on and hopefully I can help you make up your mind!
Unlike other fictional promotions I've seen around FA in the past, the matches and results won't neccesarily be completely random. Whilst I may use certain random elements - dice rolls and the like - to decide earlier decisions (primarily, things like where some of the titles may initially land), from there a lot of the writing will be more story-driven. Wins and losses will be less 'flip of a coin' and more about building interesting interactions and feuds. Still, I will try my best to treat characters fairly, and give as much of an equal chance to all as I can! Still, in this case, creating an enjoyable narrative/read is always gonna be the number-one priority!
-SO WHAT OF THE CHAPEL ITSELF?-
The Chapel is based in the fictional city of Trinus. Originally a religious building, it has been converted to better suit the purposes of combat, a number of pews turned to face in towards a wrestling ring at the building's centre. Overlooking it all, a great stain glass window which seems to double handily as a jumbotron screen.
Saratheina acts as the GM/High Priestess of the venue. Promoting the virtues of combat, she has taken the chapel as her own monument to the beauty of battle. From here, she broadcasts and shares the thrill of the fight as the one thing she truly worships.
-ANY WRITING EXAMPLES?-
As of now, C.O.W.S has succesfully made it through one episode, split into four different parts! You can find the logs for all of the parts so far right here! If alternatively you want to jump straight to the start you can find that here, whilst the very first battles can be found in this part! Some of the later fights are perhaps written better as I get more into the swing of things, but this should give you an overall idea of how it'll be written!

Have a big buff ottery fellow of my own as one of the wrestlers for the promotion. XD
And big projects are kinda my thing! I've ran a li'l sprite comic thingy for nearly 400 pages now, so yeah, I like doing these big things.
(Also have at least one which was noted to me instead, will pop that up with the others in a sorta document after episode 1.)
