hey guys
i had to end stream abruptly on Sunday cause my kitty, Loki got real sick and i had to find a vet to take him to that was open late on Sunday, which proved to be difficult but I found one. He was not able to go to the bathroom, he kept trying and just, nothing would happen. Hes a well tempered kitty, but he was hissing at the other cats and not wanting anyone to go near him and was constantly cleaning his genitals.... he has had a UTI before, and that was what I was thinking was the problem again, so i knew that I would need antibiotics, and even though I am tight on money right now, hes my baby and he comes first, so I took him in. with my financial struggles right now that was really hard coming up with the cost to do that (was $103 just for the exam and medication). They said his bladder didn't seem to be swollen, so if there was a problem we caught it early, gave him a shot and some antibiotics and sent me home.
Monday we had plans with family at the lake, so I checked him in the morning, and while we still had some struggles going to the restroom, I figured he would be okay with the medication, so I gave him his pill and left for the day. When I came home last night I found him very lethargic and he had peed on my kitchen floor and it was really bloody... I of course went into a panic. The vet had a 24 hour emergency number to call and page them, Rakai did that several times while I stayed with him and cleaned him up and comforted him. The vet never responded... -.- it was the 4th of July, so they were likely with their families, but it still really upset me. So I waited till 7 am this morning when they opened and took him straight in.
After taking a look at him, they told me his bladder is swollen and he has a blockage in it that is most likely bladder stones. They had me leave him with the vets, and they are going to sedate him, break up the stones and get him healthy again, and that it would likely take 3 days to make sure everything is okay. If its not, they will do some blood tests on him to see if there is a deeper issue, but they think that this is it and it should go smoothly. Afterwords they will put him on a prescription diet to make sure that he doesn't form more stones, definitely for a few weeks, but possibly for his life... we don't know yet, too early to tell.
i already dipped into my rent money for the first bill and just planned to overdraft my account for rent... but this next bill for these procedures is going to run me $350-$400...which I honestly cant afford. -.-

I am thinking since I cant really open for regular commissions, I still have 4 ref sheets to complete and a couple linearts plus 2 pictures that i have on order that helped pay for my wedding... so opening emergency commissions isn't an option for me right now. so what I am thinking of doing, is running a donation stream later today. I don't usually stream on Tuesdays, but this is important and I need to raise the money fast, so if you are interested, I am asking for help.
