As thanks please post a reference image of your character!.. hmm... And what you look for in art! (We are really interested in that @v@)(I guess. I doonnt have to remind that you have to be a watcher XP)

I look for many things in art, so it would be hard to narrow it down, but a good art style overall is always nice. :)

Yups, tbh I was thinking aesthetics were going to be number one that I saw on the list but its arguable that style falls under that.
One thing I enjoy seeing in art is the vast amount of styles out there and how no two are alike

Absolutely but learning is emulation, though it is not per say a style but used as a stepping stone.
What I look for in art is things that mainly pertain to my general interests, like I tend to really love artists who draw beefy guys, nice dicks, or those who draw in like what I call an anime aesthetic since at my core I'm weeb/k-pop trash before being a furry.
So overall I look for artists who appeal to my own personal sense of what's really super cute!
I have to start googling thesaurus yes.
lol anime is a huge proponent in contemporary art. lots of people start with that style and in turn are drawn to aspects of it.
Overall I look for aesthetics. I actually really like photorealistic styles a lot thanks to one of my ex's. They were quite skilled with color pencils O.O

I agree, there is a attractive nature in capturing the real. Its a good exercise and I have been trying to get more realism into my practice
grammar check (since you asked for it at the top of your journal)! Use an instead of a if the following word starts with a vowel "...a attractive..." (an attractive), though that wording is a little clumsy in itself. "It's a good..." This is mostly a case of possessive pronouns and a contraction of It is. Hope that made sense @w@

Honestly, anything you do makes me happy. Your style is what I want to see and what I want to enjoy. So whatever it may be, I want you to be the creator.

Well, I generally figure I know what I like when I see it, but if I had to be specific I'd say I like things that are cute, sexy, and/or badass. I appreciate beautiful scenes, too. A unique style is also important.
I am writing this as if people are reading all of my comments but this might just confuse some people lol.
I understand what you mean, moments in time or emotions are a wonderful thing in many art works. The abstraction of art from realism is one of the biggest forms of emotion that has taken form in the art world.

What I look for in art......hmmm......to me, I'm not really picky when it comes to art. Any style of art would do for me, unless if it's on my No list.

being open to everything is good, you don't meet many like that due to people growing up with an idea of beauty.
I tend to look for slice of life moments and personality coming through the art. Snapshots of emotions and memories.
Yes, it has a nice sense of belonging, those kinds of images. many images used for techno or love songs have images like that. recently I am listening to a nightcore song Take a Chance on Me and the image is really adorable.
What I look for in art is something to tell me a tale. To mean something. A visual aesthetic that speaks to my heart and soul more than just my eyes.
Illustration has a large aspect of story in all its work. In one of my earlier classes it actually made us write before draw. XP
In art , I look for ... in french it's " le coup de coeur" I'm nor sure for the translation : heart stroke . I'm not fix at a kind of technique. I want just say : oh it's cool

What i look for in art varies from piece to piece. If it hits one of my interests ( military, gaming, ect), a fetish ( exhibitionism, clothed sex, ect), or just a style i really like!

What I look for in art is, well, anything that really catches my interest. Not just porn, but anything that makes me think 'ooh, that's cool' or 'oh, it looks so cute!', really.

I look for art that I can tell the artist had fun creating and put themselves into the making of it.
That's actually a tough thing to notice. There are times when an artist puts a lot of effort and work on a piece and their doodle to warm up gets more likes XP
