Update on "Vinci & Arty", "Jack" downtime and babby

Ok, first up, been getting a lot of PMs about vincifruit.com being down. Our server had a severe hard drive failure and Arty's in the process of rebuilding. He said the ETA would be a few days at the very minimum, but there was data loss so it might take us a bit to get back up to speed. Vinci & Arty, Jack, Six Pack of Otters, Pimo is Awesome, solfire.com, and any other sites hosted on it are affected.
So! Onto the baby!
This should answer your questions :) :
1. I'm due in February.
2. No, I don't know what it is yet, it's too early.
3. Mother of God, NO, I'm not going to involve or encourage it to be a furry.
4. We're going to FC. I'll be close to full term at that point. I -don't- want my belly touched.
5. We won't be bringing the baby to cons.
6. We have names picked out. Sorry, I'm not telling you. :)
7. I will not be uploading belly pics. Or baby photos. I don't really want pictures or information about my baby to be public on the internet.
8. JESUS CHRIST NO I'm not going to draw Vinci Mpreg pics. D: D: D: D:
9. The fetus's moniker is "Quirtsquip". Obviously this is not the actual name.
10. I feel pretty great so far. Very mild symptoms. If they get worse, they get worse. I'm not going to worry about it.
11. I'm pretty much ignoring anyone who spouts nothing but negativity, scare tactics and doom and gloom. Everyone's pregnancy is different.
12. The nitty-gritty details about the pregnancy and birth are really not something I'm comfortable sharing.
13. Waaaah, Vinci's so mean! :)

Here is hoping that 'Quirtsquip' does not result in greater symptom development in it's host (AKA you).
Probably some good choices you have with regards to 3, 5-7 with 4 being entirely up to your own personal space.

At any rate, I really should congratulate you. Your art has given me little...happiness refreshers for many years. Any time I was feeling down, I could come to your art, view it, and feel at least a little bit better. So to me, it only makes sense that at some point, you would be rewarded with the realization of one of your longtime goals. I dunno, call it fate, or providence, or what have you, I just think it's the only natural conclusion to you being so kind to so many.

Yeah, I've been asked those things, especially when people knew we were trying for a baby. The "Your kid's gonna be a furry!!!" thing gets repeated a lot. I tell them that I'll show him pictures of fursuits and tell him I'll make him go to the bad place with the scary animal people if he misbehaves (I'm joking, obviously) and some people get mightily butthurt at that. :)

Yeah, I really don't recommend taking them to cons or anything like that, but you seem to have the sense to know better. It's honestly sad you have to be so careful, but... well. Yeah. Better safe than sorry!
I'm still appalled someone asked that. Ugh. I hate mpreg. And even for the people who like it, have some tact!!

I don't get why people have to be so creepily invasive. They do the same thing to bald people...rubbing their bald heads for 'luck'. o.O
I don't blame you for not bringing your little one to cons/uploading photos. You never know just who is watching that would do something cruel with the photos. (It's one of the reasons you don't see pictures of me on the internet...not that you really know me enough to care about my raving paranoia when it comes to pictures of me.)
