I think being hostile with putting FN tags all over just makes it bitter and makes people think FN is full of toxicity personally. Probably either stick to FN for art, don't post here, or post here but delay that post for days to direct people over FN where they can see stuff sooner.

*also probably don't trust FA much more either. I might even end up just posting on e621 if some catastrophic event happens again since the traffic there is actually much much higher.

The issue is that people don't know how to read my profile, so they only see if I have a gallery or not. So if they won't look at the damn profile to see my stuff is elsewhere, I have to submit censored content to get them to see.

Maybe you need to write it in bigger letters like that ASCII art stuff people have :P

Or post a single image in the gallery telling where the art is + URL and all that, if people go there right away.
Could make the image banner-like that includes some of the pictures with a text overlay saying it's on FN, again: with a link in the desc :P

I think the bigger issue is your hostility toward not only the site but it's users as well. Especially this sentence on your profile "If you want to keep posting here, fine. But you are forcing people like me to stay on a site they dislike against their will." seems rather troublesome. Noone is forcing you to stay here, you are here at your own will - These kind of sentences are something that tend to really put people off because you're basically treating it as a crime to be using FA.

You can dislike the site all you want, but when you begin treating it like others are bad for using something you don't like, it's going to make them dislike you

The issue is that people refuse to leave FA, staying on the ship that sunk ages ago just because its easier than change. Its a loop, artists stay because the watchers stay because the artists stay because the ... Oh wait, loop, right.. Anyway.

I have hostility because people have proven time and time again how corrupt the site is and how it will never change, yet everyone just stays because its easier. This makes it impossible for someone who likes to look at certain artists to leave because their work will only be here. And it makes it impossible for someone who left, to get commissioned anymore because all the watchers are here. It causes all sorts of problems with everyone stubbornly hanging onto a ship at the bottom of the ocean as if it were still above water.

I agree fully with your point, just not the way you've worded it. As a full time artist I mainly have to get my commissions through FurAffinity though I have been lucky to get a few through SoFurry by keeping an eye on their market (Which is such an amazing feature on that site). Which I wish wasn't the case because FurAffinity is indeed not the best site in existence and most likely never will.

But I still believe 'forced' is the wrong word. You're pressured into staying on the site, but not forced. You're still here of your own free will in order to see pieces from artists, not because you will be punished for not being on the site. But it might just be because I'm very literate with my use of words. Just the way you word it out, to me, sounds like you're telling artists that they're purposefully trying to make you stay to punish you, no matter the actual intention of your words.

I hope to get my FN account up and running soon as well when I take the time to re-upload my content there. Hopefully it will be more popular when it's had time to thrive and grow.

Also about the hostile attitude: I don't mean it as in dislike strongly dislike (The people blocking from stupid reasons, which I can understand you've experienced a lot of, is just that: Stupid. In my opinion there's no reason to block someone unless they're harassing you) but more as in "This person don't seem nice so I'm going to avoid them" which might draw more people away from FN, especially because of the blaming tone. The first impression is often the most outstanding.
Nothing wrong with being opinionated though. I will rather hang around someone that can voice their opinion than someone who doesn't dare do so

FN has an FA importer, you don't really need to re-upload everything, it'll import it all for you tags and all. Though it imports some bad tags too so you might have to do some cleanup, but not as much work as you would have had you needed to re-upload everything.

I voice my opinions often enough that people get annoyed at me and stuff because they disagree and I'll find ways to prove my point by providing what i know or the facts or where I heard it and they'll still disagree or some such, people dislike arguing because if they are at risk of being wrong then they look stupid so sometimes it cause conflicts. However, I don't argue to make someone look stupid, I argue to make sure the one of us who has the wrong data can get the correct data. Even if I end up being wrong. In my case when I'm wrong, people just call me retard and laugh, however. No such thing as a civilized argument these days. :P

Oh, I didn't know about the import - That makes my job a lot easier! Is it something new, or did I simply miss it?

And trust me, I have also felt what a dissapointing experience it is to argue with some people sometimes :'D Even though I always try to be as polite as possible when expressing my opinions to people who havn't done anything to tick me off, I've gotten my fair share of insults.
One of my favorites is still when someone said I shouldn't argue with them because they were only sixteen. All I could think is that if they're sixteen and still think they're not going to be challenged with people calling them out on their flawed views, they're going to end up pretty pathetic in life

And yep, the fear of being wrong is really something many people should learn to handle. I'll rather be proven wrong than live in ignorance about a subject - The people who will go to desperate measures to win an argument that's already been destroyed by facts are the truly stupid ones

Its been a feature for a long while now. You'll just need to remove tags like "Gender Unspecified" or whatever from all your art uploaded, unless you pester the site owners to fix it before you upload.

Also, you've learnt that there is someone out here giving inaccurate information if you win an argument! :O And it could be you! :O

Also, I do know that I tend to have a hostile attitude a lot, especially lately with everything thats been happening around me. I'm rather opininated and pissy that everyone is making the world a worse place and there's no going back anymore. Most/all of my friends have continued to stick around me however even so. So I don't think people dislike me for any true reasons unless they actually took the time to get to know me. If they didn't take that time, well, thats their problem, not mine.
