Marxus92 here. I've noticed this a lot since I've became manager and even been a bit guilty of it myself from time to time... But the main thing about this journal is
!!THANK THE ARTIST!!
I've seen many people recieve art and NOT thank the artist! The thing is that these people don't have to make free art. They could just as easily leave as fast as they came in. They take time out of their day and commission schedule to make free art for you because they're kind people. Not saying thank you to them just seems like a spit in their face in saying you don't appreciate what they do.

Again, I'm no saint of this myself and I feel guilty for it but I plan to start thanking everyone for art. Commission or free.

Another thing I see, while rare, is people disrespecting the artists of this group. Whether it be they didn't do their request or they didn't draw exactly what you were picturing, being rude to our artists is absolutely unacceptable. If you have a problem with an artist acting unprofessionally (insulting, being rude, drawing something you didn't approve of [NSFW art when you asked for SFW]) please note me about it, on my personal account or here, and I will try to resolve the issue so tensions don't get high.
If artists are having a problem with a client being rude to them, also please note me about it, whether on my personal account or on here, and I will try to resolve the issue.
Being disrespectful to anyone on this group will not be tolerated and will be handled promptly.

So again, PLEASE thank any and every artist that makes free art for you!
If someone is being rude to you from this group, note me and I will try my best to resolve it.

In the worst cases, we do end up blocking some people. There's not many blocked now and I hope that number never rises.

I noted the artist to thank them for the art instead of commenting on the picture, I prefer to directly thank them instead of indirectly posting on this page.

People aren't thanking the artists? Thats kind of disgusting, tbh. I almost never get art, and I thank every artist that does actually make art for me.

I agree. As I said in my last reply, it bugs me personally that some people don't repost the art they get. It'd make me feel like all my effort was useless and I wasted my time. But that's me personally.

And people will bring up 'but it's their account'. I understand that. They can do whatever they please. But what I'm more concerned about when this bugs is, most of the artists on this group are beginners/very small. Re-posting the work they made for you gives them publicity and a chance to grow as an artist.

Very true. While I have not been selected from any of your rounds, I did get a request from of of the artists about two weeks after a round ended.

I know, nobody EVER seems to repost the art I make for them! I don't complain though, since some stuff I do not have time to repost sits in my DA sta.sh for a bit before being reposted. I am thinking of making another account for art from others so people do not mistake reposts as being mine.
