~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's time to begin! let's get our Japanese thinking caps on and get to learning Hiragana.
*picks up her pointer, and adjusts her glasses*
If you have not read the class syllabus yet, or need to enable Japanese on your computer, please Click here
Your first assignment is to go to this siteCLICK HERE and to sign up for the four week course of learning Hiragana. There are also nice little posters with hiragana there, and audio files to listen to the pronunciation.
If you can't, for some reason, you can also find the same sheet HERE
You also have a basic listening and speaking exercise. Please listen toIntroductions Here
With listening and speaking, break the words up into little chunks to try to get the pronunciation. For example HA. JI. ME. MASHI. TE. I prefer to go backwards. TE. MASHITE. MEMASHITE. HAJIMEMASHITE.
It can take a long time to get the pronunciation down because your tongue just simple hasn't built up the muscles for that type of pronunciation.
Another note for the listening, *hajimemashite* is used for meeting someone for the FIRST time. We don't use it after that.
If you got the downloads and your computer is enabled for Japanese, just leave a small note. Good to go, or something like that.
ブルー Burū sounds like the English word for Blue. That's because it is. That right there, is the Katakana symbols to pronounce the English word of that color. It's exactly the same as it is. It's said alike from the English language.
But then we got, 青 Ao. That's the Kanji symbol for the color Blue and it's a literal translation.
Just have to watch the pronunciation :)
あお Ao would be used for the translation in Hiragana, instead of Kanji.
But I do know that there's Hiragana words written on top of Kanji. Now, I can't remember what that's called, when they put Hiragana on top of Kanji symbols.
They start learning thier kanji when they enter elementary school at 6, and then will learn about 2000 by the time the get into high school.
The homework is kinda insane here.
The kanji is always broken down into two reading, KunYomi, and OnYomi. KunYomi is normally used when the kanji appears by itself, and seen more of the Japanese reading, the Onyomi for the older Chinese reading, and when it is paired. Kanji is fun, but has a lot too it!
This probably explains it better http://www.kanji-link.com/en/kanji/intro/
Thanks ever, so much!
Which ones are you reading??
Ok I put in every emoji that could be Japanese do I get extra points o-o
Ok imma actually read it instead of skim now xD
I am a terrible person lol
Idk what it says because I used a translator
I- oh gosh it's weird I just translated it back xD
ペニスフラップおならは男根シャフトをスケルチ
Lol! It looks like you are having fun with that!
It turned into I died inside of this crap translator for this
Honestly, it'll be a good refresher for me and possibly help me understand a bit more =3
Also the kanji site you linked above seems really awesome for learning!
But I had a sweet fur daughter interested in Japan, so I figured, why not teach the basics to those who want to learn. :3
And it's more of a guided self study, with occasional reminders.
Also, noticed my name is missing the ~ ^^; Someone else has the page without it.
Thank you!
I lied, three exceptions, but that is it!
good job
Keyboard switching is awesome:
a i u e o
あ い う え お
ka ki ku ke ko
か き く け こ
Now that is some motivation!!
Well done!!
I never finished responding to that did I??
*pulls out the box of everything SFW stickers*
... Now let's see here.. What type do you want??
.....
Why is this making me WANT to buy more stickers??
Girly gothic, rocker punk, cat, and castle please! OwO
Lol! That shows what kind of poof I am.
That sounds awesome, medieval, girly goth, rocker punk, cat
You know I am tempted to draw you like this now..( granted you are a wolf, but I was convinced that your feral chibi form was a cat until I finally actually read your reference sheet.. I was like: Kittenpoof.... Isn't a kitten?!?!?! Hehe. But you are still my kittenpoof. :P )
And I think I can actually put that together.
I mew and purr and howl and bark.
Hope all is well at the grandma's house.
*Reacher down and ruffles your head gentky*
Packing like that can be difficult! And tiring! お疲れ様でした~
*picks you up gingerly and gives you cuddles*
