Been long overdue for this so here we go!
Below are a list of rules and regulations I ask that any commissioners/adopt purchasers follow when purchasing art from me! If you disagree with any of my terms then I have the right to deny/refuse service without contest.
Art is my full-time job and only means of income, so I apologize if my terms are more strict regarding refunds than other artists.

*BEFORE COMMISSIONING ME PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE A HOUSEHOLD I TAKE CARE OF DAILY. I DO THE COOKING, THE CLEANING, THE GROCERY SHOPPING, ETC. I ALSO HELP TAKE CARE OF MY GRANDMOTHER, WHICH INVOLVES RUNNING HER AROUND TO DO HER ERRANDS/CLEANING HER HOUSE/JUST GENERALLY SPENDING TIME WITH HER. THIS CAN MEAN THAT COMMISSIONS DO NOT HAVE A SET COMPLETION TIME. I WILL, HOWEVER, STRIVE TO COMPLETE WORK AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
**BEFORE COMMISSIONING ME PLEASE ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE SEVERE ANXIETY. COMMUNICATION IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT TO ME. IF I SEND YOU A W.I.P. OF YOUR COMMISSION I NEED TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE SATISFIED/DISSATISFIED WITH IT. THAT MEANS THAT I NEED YOU TO RESPOND TO MY NOTE AND TELL ME HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT IT. YOU DON'T NEED TO WRITE AN ESSAY OR ANYTHING, BUT IT IS INTEGRAL TO MY MENTAL HEALTH THAT YOU RESPOND TO THESE MESSAGES AND TELL ME IF YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH YOUR PIECE SO FAR. THIS INCLUDES WHEN I SEND YOU THE FINAL PRODUCT AS I WILL NOT POST IT UNTIL YOU HAVE APPROVED IT!

TERMS FOR COMMISSIONED WORK:
-Payment for any commissioned work is due in full and up front at the time of commissioning.
-Work will not be started on your commission unless I have received payment in full.
-I only take payment through PayPal. No e-checks, money orders, or actual checks.
-I do not send invoices. I have had bad experiences with invoicing, therefore I ask that all payment is sent by you, the commissioner.
-All payment should be marked as Goods and Services. Please do not send payment as a gift unless it is as tip and you are not paying for a service from me. This is for both my protection and yours.
-I send W.I.P.s (work-in-progress). If you would rather not recieve W.I.P.s, then please tell me. This can and will effect how you are refunded should you be dissatisfied with the final product. I will send you a sketch of your piece for approval before beginning on linework. It is YOUR responsibility as the commissioner to respond to me and approve this sketch before I continue work. Once approved, I will continue on to the lines. If you do not like the sketch, tell me. I will scrap it and start over. It is YOUR responsibility as the commissioner to tell me if you are dissatisfied with the sketch. I am more than happy to keep working with it until you are happy.
-I will send another W.I.P. of the linework for approval. I will not progress on your commission until it has been approved.
*NOTE: ONCE YOU HAVE APPROVED THE LINEWORK YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND. I WILL KEEP RECORDS OF ALL APPROVALS. IF YOU DISAPPROVE OF THE LINEWORK AND WOULD LIKE A REFUND, THE LINES WILL BE EDITED AND SOLD AS A YCH. THIS IS PART OF THE AGREEMENT YOU MAKE WHEN YOU COMMISSION ME.
-There is no W.I.P. for colored sketches other than the uncolored sketch itself. You are not eligible for a refund on colored sketches once the sketch has been approved.
-There are no W.I.P.s for artistic liberty pieces. If you want an artistic liberty piece you are agreeing to give me full artistic liberty. You are free, however, to provide me with a theme, pose, or expression suggestion. If you dislike your artistic liberty piece then you are eligible for a 75% refund of what you paid. The disapproved finished piece will then be edited to remove your character and be sold as a YCH.
-There are no W.I.P.s of headshot/icon pieces. If you are dissatisfied with the final piece, you are eligible for a 75% refund and the finished piece will be edited to remove your character and be sold as a YCH.
-If you choose not to receive W.I.P.s of your commission, then you will not be eligible for a full refund once work is completed. You will only be eligible for 50% should you be dissatisfied with the final product. The final product will then be edited to remove your character and sold as a YCH.
-As the commissioner, you have all rights to your commissioned piece. You may upload it to your FA profile or any other website that you wish, so long as credit is given to me for the work! You don't have to link back to my page, but it is appreciated!
-If you would like to have a print made of your commissioned piece but need written permission from the artist, please note me and I can provide you with a personalized document for you to print out!
-As the commissioner you are allowed to make edits, or pay/have another artist make edits to your piece for you. Should this be the case, you are free to contact me to see if I still have the .SAI or .PSD file to provide easy editing.
*NOTE: I WILL NOT ALWAYS HAVE THESE FILES AS I REGULARLY CLEAR LARGE FILES FROM MY COMMISSIONS FOLDER. SO DO NOT EXPECT THESE FILES FROM ME WEEKS/MONTHS AFTER YOUR COMMISSION HAS BEEN FINISHED.
-YOU MAY NOT TRACE, HEAVILY REFERENCE, OR RE-UPLOAD MY ART WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM ME AND THE COMMISSIONER OF THE COMMISSIONED ART.
TERMS FOR ADOPTABLES:
-There are no refunds for adoptables.
-Continuing the above, there are no refunds for pre-made adopts/designs. You may have a refund on a custom design but only if you let me know you are dissatisfied with the design within 24 hours of me sending you the final product.
-You may resell your adoptable, but not for more than you paid for it unless it has extra art, fic, etc.
-You may trade, gift, or rehome your adoptable.
-You must credit me for the design/art of your adoptable the first time you upload it. You don't have to credit every time thereafter.
-You have full rights to your adopted character.
-You may not trace, copy, or heavily reference the art/design of your adopted character to make another design/character.
-You are allowed to make edits, or pay/have another artist make edits to your adopted character for you.
***Again, communication is key with me! If you do not feel that you are able to communicate well (i.e. not willing to provide approval on W.I.P.s) then I implore you to seek out another artist as not being able to provide this can be devastating to my mental health!
****If you are not satisfied with a commission, please, please, PLEASE let me know so that I can fix it! I don't want anyone to walk away dissatisfied! I will do everything I possibly can to make sure you're satisfied and happy with what you paid for!
*****If you ever have any questions or want updates, feel free to note me at any time!
******I will be updating my terms occasionally, so if you plan on being a repeat customer, I advise you to read them every time you commission me!
