Thanks for the help! I have one other questions about cats

I have a 22 year old cat she belongs to my mom but I care for her on a daily bases for 3-4 days she has been grimacing for a whIle uit yesterday night she wasn't able to move and there this lump on her upper leg I use to let her outside but now she been fearful of being outside alone she has no sign of getting beat form another cat she use to be the nehbourhood cat every one knows who she is and who she belong to but lately she doesn't want to see anyone she use to greet in the morning she hiding in every corners of the house now and I finally lock her in a room with me to monitor her I'm not sure if someone kick her or if she fallen and broke her leg or hip? ;~; I just want to know if anyone had this happen to there beloved cat I hope it not cancer it's not a hard lump but it feels like a flude pocket she doesn't cry in pain ether but she do growl when being touch

from my own experience my dauschound would swell up real bad when a female dog would go into heat (he would fight stray males before we figured it out and pinned him up) from bruising where it would look like a big cyst, wait a couple days and if it is still there take the cat to the vet
this is what it look like now and it is causing her pain and discomfort she didn't move all day and only laid in one position for 2 days and it seems to be getting worse by the day the vet close today due to the holidays but she going first day in the morning. first thought it was a bruise or someone kick her?
she been inside for 3 days now and just notice the lump yesterday, she been acting strange for a while now.
I hope it's not a tumor >_> the lump sounds like my gal Whiskars bump when she got one.
My cat got one in the same spot due to her monthly vaccinations. The vet said it was something that had been happening to stray cash in our area for a while (which she was a stray till we took her home ^^) and we sadly had to remove the leg.
But she learned how to get around on three legs after a while. And lived another 5 years after that ^^
But I hope your kitty is ok, hope it's something simple like a cyst ^^
And her lump was hard, if yours is soft n movable it may be a cyst ^^
i hope the blood work comes back soon >_< i hated waiting for the vet to get back to me on my kitty's leg lump.
