Hey guys; bad news to share. Our cat Jack recently got into a fight with another animal, and injured himself pretty badly. The medical bills are going to be pretty high, more than we can afford to cover on our own. Normally I'm not too much the type to ask for charity, but this is going to be a big blow to the family if we lose our cat.

Today I've made a gofund me page to try and raise enough for the medical bills (Warning: Images of injured cat ahead): https://www.gofundme.com/2rzedduk the operation estimate is around $1000, plus an additional $150 for the exam fee, antibiotics, and and pain killers he was given today. I'm trying to raise $1200 to cover these fees plus any additional expenses that may come up.

I've already gotten more than I expected from amazingly kind people online. With what we have now, we will be able to cover the initial down payment on the operation, but it's not enough to cover the entire expenses. Tomorrow, we will speak with the vet again to see if there's a possibility of doing a payment plan to spread out the fee if necessary, and we'll call other clinics to see if we can find any other location that would have a cheaper estimate for the operation.
