Last minute trip cancellation and reschedule...

Unfortunately my mate's trip up here I have been looking forward to so much had to be canceled last minute...

Turns out when my mate originally did the planning a passport was not required, he didn't know about the June 1st thing that just took effect so now that a passport is required it botched things up. I feel stupid too for not asking if he had a passport as I had assumed he did.

Anyway Khroam managed to get most of his money back, already discussing possible times for a reschedule.

its my bad.. talk about nasty luck. they haven't even changed there website info.. it sill says that a ID and Birth cert will work still but when i called they had some statement about June 1st being the big change over to Passport only.. and not just that for air travel it has to be a book.. not a passport card.
the trip is still on though.. just have to reschedule it for when i do get the passport i ordered. and use up the tickets.
