💉 Testosterone methods?
Hey guyyys
If any trans pal on T is following me, I'm just wondering what kind of testo you use?
We've been having problems with one of the most common methods where I live, an injectable one, and that was the one I was using (too much demand, not enough supplying until January).
I'm kinda lost bc I've been on that one for a couple years now, and although I have options and will probably go for Testogel, I thought of asking around here to know better.
Idk, tell me your experiences maybe or share the journal?
Thank yaaa!

the next options are typically the gels BUT those often cost A LOT more (currently fighting with insurance over that shit myself) and a lot of insurances that dont cover transgender health care will deny that shit real quick. its great
theres also patches but i dont know much about them, all that i know is they tend to be around the same price as the gels which is a lot
id suggest talking to your doctor about injectable testosterone if there are other solutions of it available
Yesss, I've been having one of the IM injectable options, testex 250 (forgot to mention, it's added now!). My doc offered me two options; testogel, or the same injectable but that comes in less amount of T (testex 100), so I'd have to get 2 shots every 10 days.
To be honest idgaf about shots, but also I don't wanna end being a strainer??? xD I'd be full of holes in the end lmaooooo. So I think imma try the gel and see how it works.
Iiiiiii think they cover it well here, though? I'm more worried about if secondary effects will be toughter on gel- my skin is reallyyyyy oily now and as much as I wanna deny it, my hair is falling a lot x.x
About patches, I think those are not covered here. But don't seem really appealing to me anyways x.x
(also holy shit I think i read smth about those allergies you had with the injections??? Im not sure, but fuckkk I hope you're fine now D: )
ohhh yea hmm, from what i know the gels and patches work slower than injections and people who take those tend to report signs of their transition slower than those who take injectibles. but also, probably talk to your doc abt those concerns most of all bc in the end, hrt is always different for everyone even if two people coincidentally are taking the same stuff
(also YEA im ok now, physically stabilized but mentally not so hot omg...i got diagnosed w a form of ptsd due to the whole hit and miss death thing...but ill figure it out aaa)
I'm not really worried about them being slower cus I'm already 2yrs on treatment so by now I just want it to be stable and keep going right <3 So I'll definitely try the gel to see how it goes!!!
Also aaaAAAA hope it really passes omfg... !!! Best wishes tho, hope u don't have to go thru more troubles :_u <3
best wishes to you too bud
