Basic Shapes

Everything can be broken down into basic shapes. Putting basic shapes together will give you the simplest construction of an object.

Go out and look at everything around you, and find 3 objects that interest you most. See if you can break them down into their bare basic forms, overlooking all of the surface details and then draw those bare basic forms.

For example, an airplane is comprised of a cylinder , and cone, and several flattened boxes for the wings.
