Commission Terms Of Service

►By commissioning me, you agree that you have read and accepted the terms listed below.
►Prices listed are base prices; more complex characters and backgrounds may cost more.
►I can be contacted for commissions by notes on-site, Discord, email, or Twitter.
►The first note you send me must contain all needed information. If I reply to your comment that you've won a YCH and you just send me your PayPal, how will I know what character you want me to draw? Please be specific with what you want unless you specifically want artistic liberty.
►I require payment up-front unless otherwise discussed. I can only accept PayPal USD at this time. When ordering a commission, I will need your PayPal address so I can send you an invoice for the price of the commission. There’s no sales tax in my state and I do not charge PayPal’s invoice fee.
►On refunds: Once I begin work on your commission, half of your payment is non-refundable. If at some point during the commission process you want a refund, I will refund up to half depending on how much work I've put into the piece. There are no refunds once the piece is completed. If you need a refund, please just let me know; if I'm abiding by my terms, there's no need to do a chargeback via PayPal.
►If I feel I am unable to finish a commission for any reason, I will issue a full refund and the piece will be dropped.
►If, for any reason, a refund is issued after work has begun on the piece, I may reuse part of the composition other than your characters.
►With the exception of YCH auctions and raffle prizes, I provide updates at the sketch, study/lines, and semi-final stages.
►Unless expressly discussed otherwise, I do not sell the rights to my art and it can not be used commercially. I maintain the right to display the work, use it in my portfolio, and sell prints. You do not have the right to edit my work in any way, unless otherwise discussed.
►Character designs purchased from me cannot be used for commercial gain unless otherwise discussed, and cannot be sold for more than they were bought.
►Regardless of sale type, you are entitled to a high-resolution unwatermarked version of the commissioned art, as well as the lower-resolution unwatermarked version.
►You may repost a watermarked version of the commissioned art on non-exclusive sites where the content therein is permitted, with a link back to my original submission. When reposting on Twitter, tag me at @/Hootsewers for SFW art and @/Mr_Sewers for NSFW art.
►These terms are subject to change as I see fit.

Auctions

►Reply to the highest bidder to raise the bid. Bids are binding; do not bid money you don't have. If something comes up and you need to withdraw from the auction, that's fine, just send me a note. Don't hide your comment and not say anything.
►DO NOT ABANDON YOUR BID. Failure to notify me that you've changed your mind, ignoring my attempts to contact you on the subject of the auction, or hiding your comment all qualify as abandoning your bid. If you do this, I will no longer allow you to bid on my auctions. I do not plan on sharing my blacklist publicly, but if a fellow artist asks I may share it privately.
►When auto-buying, send me a note immediately after replying to the highest bidder with your PayPal.
►For YCH's, note me not only with your PayPal but also with your character reference, and any additional reference material.
►For adoptables, note me with your PayPal and, if you've won any, what additional views you want.
►I do not provide WIPs for auctions unless otherwise requested.
►Payment is due within 24 hours of the auction ending.

Animal Crossing Cheeb

►Price is $15 flat for one chibi done in the Animal Crossing style.
►Both animals and humans welcome; humans will be drawn as mayors, and furries as villagers. Characters will generally be simplified to fit the Animal Crossing aesthetic.

Colored Sketch

►Base price for a simple character with no props is $25.
►Background is a simple gradient or a highly abstracted environment by default. Simple backgrounds can be added.
►Highly cropped throwaway figures (dicks, hands, etc) can be added for as little as $5.
►Multiple versions can be made. An additional fee of $8 per version if the change is minor (clean vs cum) to $15 if the change is major (full outfit on/off).

►Sketches can be ordered in groups of 3-8 sketches for a base price of $20 each.

►Base price for lineless is $40 per simple character and includes a simple background. Characters that are very simple or cropped at the waist are half-price.

►Bakcground will be a simple abstract pattern. This commission type is limited to one character, and scenes are not available.

Reference Sheets

►Minimum charge for a reference sheet is $50.
►Full-body views start at $25 each for simple characters.
►Detail shots start at $10 each.
►Palette and info section are included free of charge.
»★Outfit References
►Outfit references are $15 per outfit. If buying outfits alone, there is a minimum of three outfits for the commission. If adding on to an existing reference sheet commission, there's no minimum. Max either way is eight outfits.
►Backgrounds will be either flat color or a collage of appropriate, royalty-free stock photography.

Icon

►Icons are $25 each, and include a headshot or bust of your character.
►Icons are done at 1800x1800 pixels, and can be resized down for you to 600x600, 100x100, and 50x50 depending on your needs. Let me know what final size the icon needs to be at.
►Icons can be used on any site with proper accreditation.
►Due to the fact that icons need to be sized down, detailed characters may be simplified to keep them recognizable at a smaller size.
►Couple’s icons can be ordered as well, for a base of $45 for the pair.

I'll send you a quote for you to approve. While I'm not open to haggling, I am open to working with you on getting you a commission that fits your budget! After you've agreed to the cost, I'll send an invoice, and once the invoice is paid, I'll get to work!


*Underage is any character under the age of 18. I won’t “age up” underage characters to draw NSFW art of them. I also won’t draw underage characters in romantic situations with adults. And as far as monsters are concerned (if your monster is quadrupedal) I have a litmus test you can ask yourself about the character.
**If you’re trans yourself and you identify with the term, that’s one thing. It’s another thing entirely if you’re cis and you fetishize trans people, reducing them to nothing more than their genitals. The first thing is fine. The second one is not. In either case I will not use fetishizing slurs in tags or in the art itself.

Reduced the cost of sketch pages and couple's icons. Made a distinction between "stuff I'm not interested in drawing" vs "stuff I will block you for if I find in your gallery" under the "will nor draw" header.
