Hey guys, I'm kind of back but for how long I dont know. Turns out I didnt just break my wrist.
I crushed it and I need surgery or I wont be able to move it for the rest of my life and quite frankly I'm scared.
We went to the doctor just to have him tell me Im going to need to have a plate put in that can cost up to $10,000.
And just to see the orthopedist and have them tell me something i already know and not provide any care it will cost $500
per visit. I dont have insurance so this all has to be paid out of pocket.

I am going to ask if any one has any medical experience or knows of any way they can help to note me.
As for other help im going to ask for donations, something i thought id never thought id need to do, but i have no other options at this point.

I have a terrible allergies right now ontop of no pain medicine.
Sorry guys I know this journal sounds pretty pathetic but im not sure what else to do we've called all the orthopedic centers and only one will take me without medical insurance. They are the ones that are $500 a visit.

****UPDATE****
May have gotten a voucher debilla voucher which will pay for the surgery but not the ambulance er visit casting and medicine. But if this goes through it will take around 8k off of the bill!!

As long as you make a monthly payment, regardless of how small, they cannot go after you for the full amount.
I only know this because a buddy of mine broke a finger and needed pins, and while they pressured him to pay the 5k upfront, he told them he could only pay $20/month and thats where it currently stands.

Public hospitals, funded by taxpayer dollars, are held to a different standard than privately owned for-profit hospitals. This means that a public hospital is the best option for those without health insurance or the means to pay for care.
Public and private hospitals alike are prohibited by law from denying a patient care in an emergency. The Emergency Medical and Treatment Labor Act (EMTLA) passed by Congress in 1986 explicitly forbids the denial of care to indigent or uninsured patients based on a lack of ability to pay. It also prohibits unnecessary transfers while care is being administered and prohibits the suspension of care once it is initiated, provisions that prevent dumping patients who cannot pay on other hospitals. The treatment of indigent and uninsured patients is a huge financial drain upon the health system, especially in areas where no public hospitals are available."

The only thing I can do to help is give some tips on the pain. Make camomile tea and soak a cloth on it, put it on top of the hurting areas and keep doing it. It might help just a tiny bit. As for the allergies, you could do the same thing or try to use some aloe, but I'm not sure it'll work.
