This new FA update sucks.

I tried to inform one of the admins about it, but seems all my constructive criticism is ignored now, so I'll just have to post a journal instead.
With the latest update to the site, everything went back to the old school layout where we are back to FA 5 years ago, only less lines and just more shaded in boxes instead. Like we took 5 steps forward, then took 3 steps backwards.
All the nice curves of the site went away, back into an old square everything with sharp corners and lack of gradients, kinda like updating to Windows 10 from Windows 7. A total loss in esthetics.
Worse off, submission pages now load "full view" by default, causing it to take 3-8 times longer for me to load a submission now, and you have to click the image now to get the old resized version that fits on your screen rather than see the one by default that would take 3 screens stacked to see all at once. This is my biggest complaint, and the one I tried to tell one of the admins, but it got dismissed.
I don't use the forums because I don't want to use multiple sites just to talk about the one I use. I don't know what you're talking about curves. I don't see what's wrong with squares.
As for submission being default to full view. A valid argument, although I don't know what the majority would prefer as default, I can't speak for everyone, but I prefer context sensitive. If it's like a 20mb picture I'm loading or a 5mb picture, it would adjust accordingly. That would be some quality of life improvement.
I never used the forums. I don't see the benefit in merging this website with a forum thing. DeviantArt doesn't do it. I don't see any other site do it. It's a typical social media art site.
As for the moderators. This is an entire controversy I don't want to delve myself into. This site is quite notorious about it.
Whats wrong with squares? Ok, look at your comment here, look at the corners. You see how they are smoothed out and look nice? Now look at the journal corners. Square pointed tips. No real effort put in, and rounding the edge is extremely exceedingly easy, so much so even I could do it in FA's extremely massive CSS file.
I didn't suggest anything about merging the forums here, I just don't want people telling me to take my suggestions and shit to the furaffinity forums.
Okay, I still don't see how it's bad, regardless of effort. You mean consistency? It's either curved or sharp? What kind of heuristics are you using to determine if the design is bad or good is the bigger question for me to ask.
As for the final part of your post. Okay, so I misunderstood. My bad. If people suggest you to go to the forums and you don't want to, then don't.
The design goes back to a more crude and minimalistic style, I hate minimalistic. Just like Microsuck did by deleting all graphics from Windows 8/10 to make the world's most bland and tasteless OS ever made.
As for minimalism. What's wrong with minimalism? You just hate it because your opinions? Sure. You also didn't exactly address my prior post on this topic, but I assume the explanation is "I hate minimalistic.". It's probably why the admins didn't exactly listen to you to be frank. This isn't exactly constructive.
Everyone's falling back to minimalistic shit, its horrible. Why bother making computers better, if we're just going to fall back to the age of Windows 3.1?
Imagine your favorite game with an epic UI. Nice shiny UI where menus basically sparkle or are like a hologram that looks amazing. Now have the people who Made Windows 8 have a go. It becomes a bit white screen with black text on it and a few squares for buttons all of which could be made in mspaint. Now use that interface in your game from now on, and tell me whats wrong with minimalism.
