That was honestly an extremely unexpected hiatus!
My grandma (who is my adoptive Mom- I call her Mema), got pancreatitis about 11 days ago- it put her right in the hospital.
They opted to take out her gal bladder as it was most likely what caused the pancreatitis, and because of her age she kept having minor roadblocks and incidents that kept pushing back the surgery.
Yesterday I was at the hospital for 15 hours (instead of my daily 3-4hr) and she finally had her gal bladder removed at midnight last night.
She's already doing a LOT better and we are SO thankful that nothing went wrong during the surgery.
I've had literally no time for art for the past two weeks- but now that she's in recovery, I'm not nearly as stressed!!
I'm posting a nice, steamy piece today, and then over the next week or two I'll be finishing up the others that I have on my queue! YOU HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN
Really do appreciate the update! I understand completely that life happens and people need to take some time to deal with things or even to take a break once and a while!

I was starting to worry that something bad happened, though I suppose I was technically right. :(
Again, though, I'm glad things are starting to improve now, and I wish her a safe and speedy recovery. Same for you, too.
