The "company" I bought the fursuit partial from is harassing me. I didn't wear the suit at AnthroCon in the fursuit parade. First of all, I want to do some modifications to it since I don't like the handpaws - especially due to the fact that the orange blotches are on the wrong sides of the arms and the paw pads are made of f'ing paper! Anyway, these two kids got their panties in a pinch. I wanted the suit to wear to AC. I never promised that I would or that I was going to. I said that IF I got it on time - and since I had to wait until the day I fuckin' LEFT FOR THE CON - no, I didn't. Yes, they busted their collective asses to get it done but they screwed around for over two months... my fault? No. Now I have to find out how to block them on my Gmail account and on Furry 4 Life. I should have known not to do business with them... especially not the "owner" since she has a reputation as being a psycho and was REMOVED from Fur Affinity because of all the shit she started. All this hassle just because I wanted to help out the psycho bitch who was desperate for money.
The experience has motivated me to just try to make my own suits. I mean, hell - I can sort of sew. I know how to cut out a pattern so I should be able to extrapolate that into making one. (I made this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2451916 without a pattern. I had it at AC with me but it's made out of polar fleece... fat chick in polar fleece in July equals dead fat chick.)
Plus, I can do just as good as she could... if not better. I mean, she used PAPER for the pawpads on the handpaws! Crimony! PAPER! WTH?! Even I know to use felt or fun foam. Yeesh.
So, hurt is over. Now determined for better things... once I get over the f'ing con crud.

Thanks for the encouragement. :) I will have to get some fun fur next pay check and see what kind of mess I can make. Ha ha! :D
And yes, don't be afraid to try your hand at it! It's all for your own pleasure, so best to make it with that in mind. :)
I have worked with fun fur type stuff before but it clogged my sewing machine. I will have to see if there is an attachment I can put on it to prevent that. I'm sure there is. There are attachments for nearly everything.
We'll see what I can hack together. I've made several pairs of ears so I know I'm good at that. :) (Sewn by hand.)
And don't be afraid of her horn, it's Model Magic and breaks if you look at it funny. :D
I will give suit making a try next paycheck. :)

I feel ashamed that I didn't recognize her for being so nutso. The red flag of her being booted off of this site (meaning FA) should have been a warning but she had my money by then. :S
I did block her emails. I just hope she doesn't hunt for me and troll on me. I hate that. It's so immature... but I now see that she would be capable of it.
Just write up a detailed report of everything that went down and screen cap the emails she's sent you. That way more people are warned about this person and how she does business.

Seconding Hellhoundinc, it's definitely good to see you toss up your side of the story/the truth (as I'm sure everyone who knows about who we're dealing with here is a raging psycho and skews stories).

Please submit a post at fursuit reviews LJ! That way anyone else wanting to commission them in the future can know your story.
Someone above suggested I go to Artists_Beware on LJ... but this maker is on that community. Since I don't want her to know that I am on LJ, I can't post there. This person is a drama queen (maybe even goddess) so I want to avoid her finding some of my internet refuges.
On a side note, I've seen a lot of your work (being on FFFFracas) and you do amazing stuff. :)

You go here: http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/ then put in "ban_set < user >" replacing < user > with her LJ name. So it would be ban_set kitt-creations and any other accounts she has, with the same ban_set prefix, on a new line.
Also, if she should send people to harass you, or if she makes a sockpuppet to bother you, file an abuse report with LJ. Just leave the abusive comments (and screenshot them) until a decision is made. You can also turn on IP logging if it's not already so you can track where the posts are coming from.

I haven't posted on Artists_Beware yet. I'm just too scared. She can't do physical harm to me now but I know she is planning on being at AC 2010 and so do I. Of course, I will be there; she probably won't. She doesn't seem to be good with money.
Don't worry about posting on a_b, I think she's far too scared to do anything there as I believe she has been posted on there before.
I'm really a peaceful person and things like this get my fur all out of place. I keep worrying. I shouldn't. I know I'm in the right. I'm the one who was wronged. I just don't understand.

Paper pawpads is pretty pathetic. I would volunteer to redo the suit for you completely, for free, if I had the means to do so.
I will be joining BeetleCat's community and writing up my side.
Hopefully the community will allow other people to be warned in the future. The only way to make her stop this is to cut off her flow of commissions.

I did post to Beetlecat's Fursuit Review on LJ. I'm trying to find out how to block a user to my journal before I post to Artists_Beware. I want to preemptively block her before she starts cluttering my space there. LJ is my life, man! Ha ha.

I don't know when I'll try to mod the suit she sent. It has her stink about it and I'm still somewhat PO-ed about the whole experience. I'd like to avoid her and the suit until I can approach it calmly. In the meantime, I may just get some fake fur and try to make a few things myself - just to see what I can come up with.

I hope you post this on artists beware and fursuit reviews on LJ. People need to know so they don't have the harassment and stuff you've gotten. :/ I know you mentioned she was on one of the communities, but you can block her so you don't have to get messages and comments on your own journal.

I haven't gotten the courage up to go to Artists_Beware yet. :S She is so vindictive that even an honest critique of her work gets met with diatribe. :S Not cool.

I have to say, the headpiece looks pretty cool in pictures, but I can tell where she got lazy with it. (Is the pink on top of the orange? It seems to have a noticeable seem / rising to it in comparison.)
Which is sad, if it looked like a quality item, and the maker was not crazy (Not ganna deal with it)...
..I would consider getting one. I'm an avid collector of hats.
Hopefully you can repair the damage yourself, if not; Hopefully someone will help you for a minimum fee / free / etc. Its horrible to spend this much money and get terrible quality in return.
I should be able to fix it. I have at least as much sewing skills as they do. OOO! Did I get snarky?! My bad. Heh.
I will say that I have met a lot of nice people through this experience so some good has come of it. :)

Glad you helped get rid of her off of FA. Now... we just need to find a way to get her out of the fandom. I mean, she swears she isn't a furry... so why the hell is she making fursuits? One of the many contradictions and conundrums about her.
the community "fursuit" on LJ would be very helpful and a great place to get help if needed.
That and they already flamed jessikit of that community.
Luckily, anyone with common sense or even a slightest bit of knowledge about her history can tell she's trying to cause drama and make herself look like the entire world just ran over her ego.
Yet, I am truly sorry to hear about this. Let's hope she no longer continues to harass you.
I have blocked her emails and preemptively banned her on my two LJ accounts. She's no longer on here, thankfully. I believe she is on Furry4Life where I have an account but I don't use it that much so I don't really care about that one.
I also did a balanced review of my experience with her on the LJ community, Fursuit Reviews (as requested here). Hope it works to help people avoid her.
I remember the first time I heard about her maybe year ago or so, she was whining about how people on FA treated her bad and caused drama on her and other shit. She left 4eva - obviously just to cry for attention and came back later and had like 4 -5 accounts which, thank goodness, got banned.
Oh well.
She's gonna get a kick to her head as always. Must be karma or something XD
She seems to cause problems where ever she goes and they always wind up biting her in the end. I guess it is karma. Heh heh.
