Commission Guidelines 2017
General
Hey there folks! Just going to lay down some rules and policies for my commissions, so that things are (hopefully) crystal clear! These rules and policies are as follows:
:The Basic Stuff:
-I reserve the right to refuse service, cancel commissions and give refunds, as well as to destroy WIPs (Works in Progress) when a commission is canceled
-Payment is to be given all at once, up front: some exceptions may be made as need requires (such as large payments over $50 which may warrant payment plans)
-Work will not begin until payment is received
-Prices may change depending on the complexity, and ultimately it is up to me how much a given piece will cost
-I will not take commissions that involve misusing a character (either a recognizable copyrighted character, or a personal character/OC of someone else's) that the customer does not have permission to use. (i.e: extreme humiliation, sexual contact, rape, violence, murder, etc) Innocuous interactions and fanart are perfectly acceptable, though this will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Basically though, no hate-art! Fanart and simple pinups are perfectly ok
:The Other Stuff:
-To be officially placed on the commission queue you must contact me within 3 days of your initial request with the details of what you want: otherwise, you'll be bumped to the waiting list
-If payment is not received within 3 days of my request for it, you may be bumped off the queue and to the waiting list (unless you give me notice that you can't pay on time, and even then it's still up to my discretion whether you're placed on the waiting list or not)
-When the commission queue is complete, the waiting list will be transferred (in order of whoever is ready with details/payment first) to the new queue
-There is no set size limit on the waiting list, though people may be removed for not following up, or just to keep myself from getting overwhelmed
-You may repost your commission anywhere, but I would appreciate credit! At the very least, don't claim it as your own, or someone else's
UPDATED 7/5/2017: -The queue will be shuffled in order of who has paid and has presented their information: first come does not always guarantee first served... First to pay, first to get served! However, I strive for a quick turnaround and will do my best to complete all pieces in a timely manner!
:Extras:
-Traditional pieces may be mailed, for the cost of shipping (usually only a few dollars in the US)
-If you would like a digital piece streamed, please let me know so I can schedule it properly with you (if schedules don't work out or if I'm not comfortable doing it on stream, I may refuse)
-If you would like a digital piece to NOT be streamed, please let me know so I won't broadcast it
-If you do not want a piece posted, or if you want to remain anonymous when it is posted, you must let me know ASAP: never assume that I'll just know not to credit you (there is no charge for this)
-If there is any deadline for a commission (e.g "I need this finished by valentines day") then you must inform me ASAP. Rush charges may apply, but it will depend on how much notice there is, and on whether or not it's possible, or needed (turnaround is usually a week at most)
That's about it! This may be updated as the need arises, but I will give notice when it changes
